[ The campfire is still roaring. S'mores supplies are hanging around the area. There's still a faint scent of copper on the air, for those who can really recognize it.

Leon is leaning against Mami on one of the logs around the fire. He's been acting like he's uncaring-- and a lot of it stems from bitterness that this happened to him and he had to watch it AGAIN. But he's calmed down now. He actually looks rather peaceful, if a bit weathered.

There's also now a pizza sitting on another nearby seat. It's cheese and a little cold. ]

Spell didn't work. Delivery man practically blinked out of existence. I thought I'd try since... look at all of us now.

[ That's all he murmurs. Join the campfire? ]

...I don't know. Help with Soul Society being rebuilt, maybe, but...I think I'm just going to go back to being a normal human teenager.

I gotta go back and stop Zarkon and the Galra Empire from taking over the galaxy. Can't catch a break before that happens otherwise they'll get Earth too and... well, I'm not letting that happen. After that though... I wanna do some normal stuff too. Go to the mall, maybe meet some cute new aliens.... heh. Got a long way to go.

What happened to Soul Society and how much do they owe you for keeping you from your normal life?

A man named Yhwach had eaten the person responsible for keeping the worlds of the living and the dead seperate - the Soul King. I fought him, and...with the help of my friends, I was able to give him a fatal blow.

...I mean jeeze man, that sounds like the stuff of nightmares. Whatever happened to just asking for things nicely, amirite? What would a world where there's no separation between the living and dead even look like anyway? Like -- are there just ghosts everywhere hanging out with all the civilians or is this more your standard grab at immortality?

My world...well, there's a...cycle. A balance, kind of. Souls that die go to the world of the dead, and eventually, the souls in the world of the dead are reincarnated back into the world of the living.

[Basically, there's a finite amount of souls, sort of. It's not explained very well.]

Yhwach...what he wanted to do was have a world where no one died...but no one would be born, either. Where life and death had no meaning, and...ultimately, everything would just...stagnate.

Because he didn't want to die.
