As you wake up, you'll realize that your powers have returned to you. For some, this is a joyous occasion...but even with them returned, it's only a grim reminder of the reality of the situation -

- that one of your fellow campers have committed murder.

Someone is dead. It's up to you to find out who...and to gather evidence for it.

[Eddie nods, frowning and looking around, finally trying to see if anything is weird... er than usual around here.]

[Well, first things first.

There is a massive pool of blood in the grass, like someone bled out there.]

[ Boa turns around a bit and. ]

...oh. Well, here's an indicator the morning is getting worse.

[ Time to go check this huge pool out. Anything noteworthy about it? ]

[Richie pulls his shirt collar up over his nose and mouth]

[Eddie's got his hand over his nose and mouth as he takes a few hesitant steps forward]

Is that... holy shit that's a lot of blood. Like... I don't think someone can survive losing that much.

[Next to the pool of blood, there's a branch that looks charred at one end. Huh!

Speaking of charring, there's charred grass around the blood pool, and scorches near what looks like disturbed grass and earth, like a struggle happened here. There's also Imprints of fists in the ground, several inches deep - enough for one of them to easily fit a good portion of their forearm in.]

That's a fight scene if I ever saw one. Who got Lance's powers last week anyway?

[ Since burning and all... Boa is also going to look at this branch, how long or big is that? ]

[Richie glances over at Eddie, locking eyes with him. his answer comes out a quiet, unsure mumble]

Mitsuru - uh, Kirijo.

[itsagazebo]

[Eddie looks frightened. He finally felt like he'd made friends with Mitsuru this week. They'd bonded over his having her Persona and his fear of using it... could she really have...]

But... that doesn't mean she did it, right? Like... what if someone could, I don't know, shoot fireballs or just had a fucking lighter... or... or... what if they took that branch from the fire pit like a fucking torch? It could be anything, right?!

[It's about the right size to be used as a makeshift torch.

As he's looking, he might notice some bloody footprints leading away from the blood pool...]

[ Boa picks up that branch and shows it to Eddie. ]

Good thought. It looks likely, actually.

[ And then he's going to head into footprint direction. ]

[Meanwhile, Richie is kneeling down near the holes in the ground for a closer look, at such an angle that he doesn't disturb the blood]

... What the hell do you figure did this?

[Eddie frowns, looking back and forth between Richie and Boa. But... he doesn't want to leave either of you alone while there's a murderer on the loose!!!

He looks down at Richie]

I dunno... someone really fucking strong.

[The footprints head towards the firepit, though they get lighter and lighter and eventually fade.

There's also drag marks that appear the closer you get to the firepit....]

[ And at the pit there is Mitsuru and he's levitating something---

Ah. Well, that's that then. Boa's certainly seen Mitsuru do this to bodies before. And he trusts him to handle that situation, so he'll just get to a clearer footprint and try to check how big it is. ]

[Richie sees Boa doing this, and frowns]

Hey, Eds... what was that thing Stan said you could do to measure an inch? Wasn't it like, one of your knuckles?

[Eddie walks closer to Boa, glancing nervously towards the firepit.]

Uh, yeah, he said one'a the ways to measure an inch is the length from the tip of your thumb to the knuckle.

[He'll hold out his hand to demonstrate.]

Okay. Lemme just measure one of these and I'll be right there.

[how wide is the hole? also HI NINE AND MITSURU]

[About the same size as one of Kanji's fists.

Because kanji punched that hole in the ground, you see.]

[The footprint definitely looks like one of the older boys's size.

But you can't really tell anything else beyond that.]

[CLARIFICATION: Are the footprints getting lighter and lighter because the blood is fading, or because the weight is changing on the prints? Also, are there any odd other things about the prints like weight distribution?]

[There definitely is some blood present that trails off, but the footprints get noticeably shallower when the drag marks start. And the footprints seem even at first, but favor the drag-mark side once the drag marks start.]
