As you wake up, you'll realize that your powers have returned to you. For some, this is a joyous occasion...but even with them returned, it's only a grim reminder of the reality of the situation -

- that one of your fellow campers have committed murder.

Someone is dead. It's up to you to find out who...and to gather evidence for it.

[that relief he feels every time he wakes up and sees that Eddie's still alive, here? it's multiplied times a million. no, a billion. he's glad he's sitting down, or his knees would have given out, like they did last night in Cabin 2. that seems so far away, now. that terror, the bone-deep fear. it could be in China for all he cares, with Eddie's arms around him. he gives a little breathless laugh]

[there's some distinct scuffling outside by this point]

[Eddie clings to Richie, his own legs kind of giving out, leaving him to kind of fall onto the bed with him. His tears started to flow again, but this time they were a mix of sadness and joy. He still mourned their friend, but this... this was something new. A lightness in his heart that he had never felt before. Not to this degree, at least.

He pressed his face into Richie's shoulder and cried, just soaking in the feeling of his arms around him.

Then he hears a voice swear outside. He looks up towards the door]

Did you hear something?

Hnnnnnnnnnngh.

[it's usually his Don't Want To Get Up noise, but he looks over toward the door]

Yeaaah.

[but he doesn't want to let him goooo. guys why you gotta be so goddamn motherfucking uncoordinated out there]

[He doesn't wanna let go, either!!!

He frowns]

Um... Should we check?

Probably. Just in case.

[SIGH]

[Eddie untangles himself from Richie and stands up, straightening his shirt a little.

Then offers Richie a hand up. That's... that's a thing he should do, right? Right. We'll go with that.]

[we can totally go with that. Richie was already pretty red in the face from crying, so it hides his blush at the gesture, but he takes Eddie's hand anyway, giving it a squeeze.

he may just keep holding on to it all the way to the door. but seriously, what's out there?]
