All these wet noodles, good lord.
[ So sometime late into Sunday, right before sunset, Cielo can be seen running through camp, soaked, and bleeding profusely from one of his arms. He's just screaming like an idiot, out of breath, making hand gestures at anyone in the cabins or the lodge. He doesn't stay long in one area, looking for help wherever he can.
He is also, incidentally, looking for Stan if he can find him. ]
Help--de clearin'--everybody real badly hurt, we need first-aid, I can only do so much, bandages...! Anythin' you got! An' pain medicine! We gwon need a lot!

He's furious at Mitsuru, just shooting her an angry glare - and saying nothing.
Which, honestly? Is a bad sign for Ichigo.]

[honestly, she doesn't even have to have had experience with Ichigo's anger to understand how Not Good of a sign that is. and for a moment, she's completely surprised, expression slack and eyes wide, because it isn't every day that she is the target of that kind of cold, raw anger]
[enjoy a rarity, Ichigo: Mitsuru at a complete loss for words]

He walks over to Mitsuru, clearly still angry.]
So do you normally leave your nakama out when you're about to do something life threatening?
[His words are sharp - trying to hurt, but also trying not to let loose how much it hurts to be left behind when something like this happens.]

[the answer to that is clear and crisp, when she compares "nakama" to "SEES"-- of course not. SEES did everything together as a team. they had each others backs, both in Tartarus and outside of it. and to be told so bluntly and plainly that she left someone she had just made a similar pact of protection to behind is. . .]
. . . no. I-- no.
[christ. she hates this]
Ren and I are Persona users. We're both used to fighting the kinds of dangers we saw in that Palace. It was. . . supposed to be routine. Perhaps. . . we let our familiarity with our enemy cloud our judgment.
I'm sorry.

Another is still angry that she left him out, because -
...
He doesn't really know, but he's angry. and hurt, though he's trying to keep it out of his voice and expression.]
You should have known better. This place - of course it's not like anything that you've experienced! I don't - I don't know anything about this place, but what I do know is that you should never take anything for granted here!
[And she should know - he's talked to her about seeing the dead, and how not seeing them here had haunted him.]
You - goddamnit Mitsuru, what if you'd died in there?! None of us would know - I wouldn't know - until Monday, if you all came back like how the dead normally do here!

[but if you had asked her, at the beginning of the mission, if she thought she was being reckless. . . she would've said no]
I. . . it's as I said.
We let our confidence cloud our judgment. A mistake that could have. . . cost us dearly.

[He's not - yelling, anymore. Not after she admits she messed up, because -
Hell. He'd already hurt them all enough, hadn't he? And they'd suffered for their mistakes, clearly, but -
(He doesn't want to lose anyone again, not like Kon, and they didn't even know if they'd come back if they died in there -)
Ichigo shakes his head, looking away.]
...Please. Don't do that again.
I'm asking you - as your nakama.

[she keeps hitting him right there, right there, right in the feeling of family and camaraderie with SEES she came to treasure so much]
I won't.
Again. . . I'm sorry, for putting you through this strife.
[for believing in her abilities too much. for failing to consider all possible consequences of their actions]
