[ So sometime late into Sunday, right before sunset, Cielo can be seen running through camp, soaked, and bleeding profusely from one of his arms. He's just screaming like an idiot, out of breath, making hand gestures at anyone in the cabins or the lodge. He doesn't stay long in one area, looking for help wherever he can.

He is also, incidentally, looking for Stan if he can find him. ]

Help--de clearin'--everybody real badly hurt, we need first-aid, I can only do so much, bandages...! Anythin' you got! An' pain medicine! We gwon need a lot!

[ She... Really messed up, didn't she? She knew she did. But... Shirou being this upset at her... It really hurts. ]

[He sighs and reaches out to gently touch her cheek.]

More than anything else, I'm glad you're safe.

[ Shirou, she's going to put a hand over his and just. Then pull him into a tight hug. ]

...It seemed so safe and easy, Shirou. Like it wouldn't be a problem. And then it suddenly was. It was terrifying. I've faced odds like that before, I've even died, but it wasn't... Wasn't like that.

[ Your girlfriend is just a mess, Shirou. ]

...When we first went in, it was like we fell into the lake. And there were... Corpses. Of the older campers, before us. And they grabbed us and we couldn't breathe. We shook them off and descended to the lake bottom and... It was beautiful, Shirou. There was coral everywhere. And we walked, following some crying, and came across the dead in a version of the campgrounds. But we couldn't talk to them, and then Natsume tried to curse us. And then Talcott tried to give us something, but that went wrong. ...We recovered pretty easily, and then we approached the crying.

[ She's Not Okay, Shirou. She's kind of haunted! She's seen corpses, just. Not like that. ]

...And it was this... This child. Younger than the little ones here. And they were scared of dying, and going on about how they didn't want to be hurt, and how they tried to do what we wanted and what someone else wanted and... And if they didn't have to go back to some dark place, they'd make us all kill each other. And then Ren touched them to try and comfort them, and his fingers were gone and the kid freaked out about us being there and suddenly there were just. Hundreds of fish, trying to kill us, because this kid was scared and lashing out, so we made an escape. I used the rod and cleared us a path, and then Ren went down and it was hard to escape but we did.

[ ...She's not sure how. But it's clear what they did was the tactical retreat now. ]

[He listens carefully, nodding to encourage her to go on.

It doesn't actually sound all that bad to him, compared to some of the things he's seen, but he knows his experiences aren't exactly standard.]

...I wish I'd been there with you.

[ She just. Leans into him. ]

...You know, it's weird. At the end, instead of trying to stop us from leaving... The corpses let us past, and even got out of the way.

[ Maybe, one some level, they got through to the kid. Or at least she hopes. ]

...It's cruel. What they're doing to this child.

[ Does it even have a choice? ]
