WEEK 6

Last week had been pretty brutal, leaving scars on everyone in camp. A murder driven by paranoia-induced visions, committed by and against two of the youngest members of camp, has left everyone reeling. If this is the way murders will go, what's to happen next?

The humidity is dropping off some, but the heat is staying strong. The campers will need to find new ways to beat the heat. A delivery is due this week though, so maybe the camp's deliveryman will have some ice cream?

The WiiU and current games are all here, but there are no new games. Sorry everyone, you're stuck with what you have. Usagi and Boa are now gone from the Mii menu, but that strange faceless Mii is still there, staring as always. His grin seems to have grown though, and the Mii menu music has changed as well. The other Miis seem scared of the grinny Mii, and they are staying far away from him. Now the only selectable Mii is grin-face. How weird.

The counselors have said they need 'more time' to end this, but just how much time do they need? Can the campers really stall long enough for the counselors to finish their plan? And how does that knowledge sit with them, knowing that each delayed week means less campers will make it in the end?

[ Seeing Eddie, Boa suddenly looks a little unsure himself. He's still smiling, but there's a hesitant note to it. ]

[Whoa... Zoa's actually unsure? That's... different. Eddie shakes his head.]

[Richie still feels pretty low, this morning, but thankfully, Sunday's conversations helped pull him back from the brink of all-out Goth Kid Depression. instead, he's just ... sort of there. tired. worn. recovering. but there.

[For a moment there a burst of anger flares right up inside of her, and it honestly looks like she's about to slap him. Or worse.

But that face he makes, the way he softens up, it absolutely kills her need to retaliate.

Instead she absolutely crumbles, and tears start streaming down her face as she blinks away from the conversation entirely.]

[howdy. how does the mess hall sound? breakfast?]

All I got was the usual 'you know what to do', but ... nothing else. I guess we're just supposed to kill someone because we fucking feel like it, this week, huh?

[he tosses his hands up in the air with a little, bitter smile]

Weird. ... I wonder if that was supposed to happen. We should go ask Stan. I need to get some more snacks, anyway.

[ Boa cuts himself off, freezing in movement as if sudden pain had hit him and the next moment he looks like he's facing great efforts. ]

Sol... don't fight Sol.

[ There's an edge of desperation to the command. ]

[ And then, he just stops talking entirely. ]

[It's going to be hard finding Red on Monday, but she's around. Ish. If you can find her. She'll be available like normal the rest of the week though.

She's also here for PCs.]

[Despite the new looks and years of jaded bitterness, Archer is still Shirou Emiya.

And he's still clearly shit with women.

So he just...stands there for a moment or two, staring at the space she used to be before grabbing the bags and heading to the kitchen.]

[Another Monday another morning spent sitting in the pews. Lance is again sitting in one the pews closest to the exit and looking around. Still not humming along with the singing, but he is drumming his fingers along the stone in some kind of rhythm to match it.

He's looking to be in good spirits.]

[Eddie's not the only one going back on his avoidance of the chapel. he's made up with Chuuta, and ... knowing what they know about Sol, and what Ren shared, has made Richie a lot less afraid of the zombies, and a lot MORE afraid of whatever's controlling them. he knows they can't help whatever it is they do. that some part of them still sees. still hears.

it's that part that he hopes he'll be able to get to, as he sits down next to Boa. he knew it was going to be hard, but the sight of that stone eye is the worst part. he forces himself to take a good, hard look at it and swallow down the lump in his throat]

And there he is. Like they promised.

Boa's the type to be suspicious, the type who, until the end, wanted to survive. So when he says that much, Mitsuru trusts him completely, even if he still feels a flame of anger at the foolish god for causing all of this.]
