WEEK 6

Last week had been pretty brutal, leaving scars on everyone in camp. A murder driven by paranoia-induced visions, committed by and against two of the youngest members of camp, has left everyone reeling. If this is the way murders will go, what's to happen next?

The humidity is dropping off some, but the heat is staying strong. The campers will need to find new ways to beat the heat. A delivery is due this week though, so maybe the camp's deliveryman will have some ice cream?

The WiiU and current games are all here, but there are no new games. Sorry everyone, you're stuck with what you have. Usagi and Boa are now gone from the Mii menu, but that strange faceless Mii is still there, staring as always. His grin seems to have grown though, and the Mii menu music has changed as well. The other Miis seem scared of the grinny Mii, and they are staying far away from him. Now the only selectable Mii is grin-face. How weird.

The counselors have said they need 'more time' to end this, but just how much time do they need? Can the campers really stall long enough for the counselors to finish their plan? And how does that knowledge sit with them, knowing that each delayed week means less campers will make it in the end?

Monday Motive: How are you Feeling?

[This morning, the nausea and dizziness hit as usual, lasting a few seconds before it fades. There is no buzzing this week, though. No buzzing, no words in the mind.

No explanation for what has happened, though the silent reminder of 'you know how to fix this' is still there. By week six everyone should know how to end what has happened.

Now the trick is to figure out just what was done to everyone.]

((OOC: Remember those names we sent you last night? Everyone is now partnered up in an empathetic bond. Each person will feel their partner's emotions whenever they are feeling a particularly strong feeling. So for example, mild disappointment won't make it through the bond, but genuine sadness will. The stronger the emotion, the more the partner will feel it.

In addition, any physical pain or injuries will be transferred to their partner as well. Try not to get hurt!))

DELIVERY....man....?

[Archer, as usual, strides into camp - just like he said he would, all those weeks ago.

But there are some changes. For one, he doesn't have the UPS logo, or the hat, anywhere on him - and as he walks in, he's followed by a windowless van behind him, with tinted windows in the front.

Stan and Red were both waiting for him, and Red's eyes narrow and she steps forward, putting herself between Stan and the van. Stan looks clueless, but also worried.]

Stanley Pines. You've been relieved from counselor duties, effective immediately. Failure to come with us will either result in death, or severe injury.

[Archer's voice is serious and grim, clearly in some kind of 'business mode.' Stan looks alarmed, along with Red - but before she can do anything, he steps forward, his face set, keeping down his own alarm.]

Alright. Just don't hurt anyone, got it?

I won't have to, since you're doing the right thing.

[Archer grabs Stan's arm, leading him to the back of the van and placing him inside. The last glimpse anyone has of the older man is him staring at the doors as they close, saying one last thing-]

Hang in there, kids-

[The doors slam shut, and Archer taps on the side of the vehicle, the door opening and four familiar dufflebags being taken out, speaking as he leans over.]

As there needs to be at least 2 counselors on site at all times, I'm going to be your new counselor for these last three weeks.

[As he sets the bags down on the ground, Archer makes a motion to the driver - who begins to back out, turning around to head down the dirt road.]

I suggest you all don't try to stop the van - I will retaliate in kind.

CUTSCENE POWER

[backspacing]

[Red manages to hold it together long enough to not freak out Stan, but as soon as the van is driving away she immediately turns on Archer.]

What are you DOING?!

[She mad.]

[He flinches, just a little - but he matches her anger easily, gazing at her impassively.]

Doing what has to be done. You didn't think they wouldn't notice he regained his memories and let that be, did you?

[Another monday, another song, the tune is upbeat, though the lyrics is anything but. The coral continued to spread from her wounds]

[ Boa is where you'd expect to find any zombie - seated obediently on the pews of the chapel. He's smiling to himself, head nodding along with Lillith's song, which is already a very unusual sight for him, but it's definitely not the worst thing about his appearance.

The eye that Talcott's body had smashed is now fully Petoskey stone. Likewise Boa's collarbone has an odd bend to it and stone is shining through the skin there as well as in various other spots of his skin.

It's Boa, doubtlessly, but it's a Boa who is completely patchwork. ]

[backspacing]

[Maybe she had been hoping that they wouldn't notice? God Archer, let her hope.]

It could have waited until camp was over! There isn't much time left of that!

[ This week, Usagi is here, too. Sitting with the other zombies, humming along with Lilith. And she's got a nice, new coral stone necklace to reattach her goddamn head. She's smiling pleasantly, even! ]

[Well, he did promise.

It's likely no amount of preparation is ever enough, for a meeting like this. Grief and weariness still weighs so heavily on his heart, not helped at all by the strange effects following the nausea.

He seats himself quietly next to Boa, head turned to the other boy, searching his face in spite of the patches of stone. Looking for him.]

I'm here.

[YOU SPECIFICALLY TEXTED HIM ASKING FOR HELP

WHAT WAS HE SUPPOSED TO DO, NOT TELL HIS BOSS???

Also I mean she's already bugged on the mitochondrial level, due to mayuri...]

But there's not enough time to make a decision on the matter you sent to command. So - that's why I'm here.

[ Boa turns to Mitsuru and his smile widens. ]

Good morning, Mitsuru.

[ A chipper formality that would be highly unusual for Boa until last week, but now it matches the paper thing quality of his smile. ]

[And here's Shirou sitting down next to her. He's feeling like shit, even more so after the motive hit this morning, but he feels he should be here anyway.]

So your decision was to send Stan back to them?! You KNOW what they'll do to him!

[It figures. He keeps his face stony, because he's shown plenty enough pain to others over the weekend and now he needs to tuck it all away again, concealed under coldness.]

...They say you can hear through it, even if you aren't "present," right?

You missed it yesterday. But it seems we might try to obtain artificial bodies for all of you to bring you back. "Gigai."

I gave them strict orders to keep him solitary confinement, and sent him to a site the clown's or his creepy glasses-wearing friend aren't on.

I've done what I can, Red. And even that was difficult enough - you know we can't afford to be partial on this.

Monday

A. Take me to Church

[ Nine can be found standing outside of the lodge. He's wearing a different outfit from the usual, with his glasses poking out of his front pocket.

Taking a deep breath as he pushes open the doors to see inside of the church. When he sees that their zombuddies are in there he crosses his arms. Cielo can probably feel the frustration, guilt, and loss from him. Nine just shakes his head and turns away. He can't do it yet... ]


B. Have you seen my cat?

[ Nine is going to head to C1 to check for Ren. Knock knock, guys!

If he doesn't find him there, he's peeking up at the roofs of buildings and then checking trees. ]


C. Cabin 3

[ He's going to locate the rest of his cabin to check in on them. When he sees one of the boys, he'll give a wave. ]

Hey...

[ Can't ask how have you been since he can already guess at that... But Nine needs to stop trying, and just be better at all of this.

Later on, he can be found back in Cabin 3 sitting on Tal's bunk. ]

[ Marisa slips in the bench beside her a bit later, once the singing dies down. ]

...hey. I think I finally got the hang of doin' your hair right.

[ She takes her hat off to reveal............a pair of odango. They're messy but she did it /o/ ]

[ She's very happy to see you, even! ]

[ Cielo sees her and he looks very upset. Just... like he's about to cry. Oops. ]

[ For a split second, Boa's smile freezes, but the flicker of... something? is gone a moment after. ]

Back? It's not like I've gone anywhere.

[Eddie's chosen to avoid the chapel at all costs... until today.

He hesitates at the door, still uncertain whether or not he wants to do this. But he makes up his mind, steels himself, and walks over to Boa.]

Cabin 3

[He'll find Eddie... around. Not in the cabin... at least not yet. When Eddie sees him he gives a little wave back.]
