WEEK 7
A new counselor, and a brutal execution. Camp just continues to surprise, doesn't it?
The rain is back, though this time it is in sprinkles and light showers. It helps bring the temperature down, but in the breaks between those mists the humidity is brutal.
The WiiU is still here, but for some reason none of the games will play. Instead all you can do is watch the faceless Mii on the Mii menu while the remaining Miis (minus Floe, Gonta, and Shirou) cower off to the sides.
Eleven of you are left. You have made it past the 'keep ten alive to the start of week 7' warning that Red gave, but what will happen now? Is this it? Is this who will survive? Or will more death happen? And what's going to happen to the dead?
A lot of questions still need answering.

[It's a small aside, but he relaxes a little when Ren speaks up -- information is what they need most right now, ways forward and different ways to see things that might be able to help everyone avoid outright panic. So he's grateful for this, too.]
Red's plan was probably to change the rating upward, to the point where the camp couldn't be allowed to exist anymore. That's the impression I got. There has to be a way out of this, even if Archer is...
[The way that he is.]
What else did you find?

[The small black item he's been dancing around his fingers since the laptop- like a nervous tic almost- he finally stops and holds out for Lenka to see. It's a cap for a usb stick, and will fit the stick they have]
It was under her desk. Spice Block said he snagged it from her way back, but she talks like she doesn't know a lot of the info on it- either she's lying or she never got the chance to actually use it. Might be someone smuggled her this info and she would have known the codes.
Also that name Natsume gave us: Marona. I saw her picture in her room, and a lot of others of campers too. No sign of zombies or people with rock parts or cat eyes. Hell, eveyone looked happy- like they didn't know death was involved at all. Only sign that anything was off was a message from Mabel, Stan's niece... saying 'don't forget me' and I know she told Red to protect Stan. So the truth had to have come out eventually.
But back to Marona. Her note said, hm, something about 'Confine'ing spirits in a fish. Maybe she had some power to do with spirits or souls, and that why we should ask after her?

[ That's a new one. ]

Fuck if I know.

[here's hoping that none of them are the fish Cielo's been catching]

Yeah! I mean, it talked to us last time. Who says we can only talk to it once?

[hey are we gonna try to thread this?]

[That actually explains a lot, if Spice Block was somehow a better smuggler than the original smuggler. Or something. Why is this raccoon now a key NPC who comes up at important meetings, the real question. He's also thinking of the discs, and the password they got last week via Archer for some reason.
If there's someone outside of camp or someone they don't know of who's been passing information, then they might fit the profile. It's not completely relevant right away, but it's something to keep in mind.]
You're right. There were a lot of pictures in Red's room, but-- [he hadn't had a chance to really examine them; there had always been something off about the videos, though, how relaxed everyone seemed somehow] If Marona has some kind of ability related to souls, she may be part of why the organization can help us. If Red knows more about her, then we'll have to see if we can get the truth about that, too.
[He's really no good at digging for information like this -- he only incidentally has something useful once in a while. He's more the type that you point towards something to do with said information.]
