WEEK 7

A new counselor, and a brutal execution. Camp just continues to surprise, doesn't it?

The rain is back, though this time it is in sprinkles and light showers. It helps bring the temperature down, but in the breaks between those mists the humidity is brutal.

The WiiU is still here, but for some reason none of the games will play. Instead all you can do is watch the faceless Mii on the Mii menu while the remaining Miis (minus Floe, Gonta, and Shirou) cower off to the sides.

Eleven of you are left. You have made it past the 'keep ten alive to the start of week 7' warning that Red gave, but what will happen now? Is this it? Is this who will survive? Or will more death happen? And what's going to happen to the dead?

A lot of questions still need answering.

I think it's a little early to be talking about wild offers. We don't know what the negotiations will look like.

We should focus on Sol and the souls, first of all. There's a reason Kurotsuchi is cooperating with the organization, even if he's not involved in this camp.

[ Mitsuru brought up the clown fucking and Nine is used to being jabbed and prodded. He rubs the back of his head and then looks away at the souls thing. ]

Yeah, you're right.

[ He hates that he actually has guilt now. ]

[They need to strategize around the clown fucker, guys, not give him additional science boners. Gosh. He tilts his head a little at Nine's avoidance -- he's definitely noticed that he's not all that comfortable talking about souls. Hmm.]

Nine... If you don't want to deal directly with the souls, it's all right.

[They might still have to keep his ability in reserve, but they're excavating more options, at least.]

Hey, it's not that. [ His attention flicks towards their resident soul reaper and then back to Lenka. ]

I'm used to death and souls, yo.

[He does catch that glance, and it takes him a few moments but something finally clicks and oh, right. It really took him long enough, considering neither Nine nor Ren nor literally anyone else under the sun is subtle about their thing for Ichigo.]

Oh... I guess you are. Um. [should he say something? should he leave it be??] Is it hard to work with Ichigo, then?

[He'll lower his voice for the last part because Ichigo is right there.]

[ That is true, but it's not... all of it. Nine just shakes his head. ]

I trust him most to have my back, yo. Who else will knock sense in me?

[ Well he has Richie who has been stepping up to do that as well. There is a shift in his demeanor with Ichigo being brought up. Crossing his arms again as he looks down. ]

Being here is making me wonder if I should just keep blindly following orders, you know? But I don't know what my life would be without Mother or orders. Because that's been my whole life. [ It feels longer than that. Like it's natural and that he's done it a lot longer than the last ten years... over and over and over. ]
