WEEK 7

A new counselor, and a brutal execution. Camp just continues to surprise, doesn't it?

The rain is back, though this time it is in sprinkles and light showers. It helps bring the temperature down, but in the breaks between those mists the humidity is brutal.

The WiiU is still here, but for some reason none of the games will play. Instead all you can do is watch the faceless Mii on the Mii menu while the remaining Miis (minus Floe, Gonta, and Shirou) cower off to the sides.

Eleven of you are left. You have made it past the 'keep ten alive to the start of week 7' warning that Red gave, but what will happen now? Is this it? Is this who will survive? Or will more death happen? And what's going to happen to the dead?

A lot of questions still need answering.

[yeah, he ... might have been watching Usagi and Shirou to see how it's actually done. because going by the movies is dumb. nobody in the movies really likes each other, it's all stupid acting. this is real stuff.

and it really IS nice.

so nice that once he finishes that first kiss, he decides pretty much immediately to go in for another one]

[There's a flush to Eddie's cheeks and he smiles as the second kiss ends. It's such a beautiful moment. The moment fades and his hand stops mid-motion as it moves to touch Richie's cheek as he realizes they're in the middle of a group of people. With that thought his face turns CRIMSON.]

Richie

[His voice is soft with embarrassment. But... he realizes he doesn't care who's watching and he smiles through the blush.]

[he leans into Eddie's hand, his eyes closing tight. it feels so wonderful and warm, and he just wants to wrap himself up in that feeling, and stay there. forever. and to see him smiling like this, instead of ... well, spazzing out in classic Eddie K fashion? that's a gift he sorely needed. in that moment, despite how grim everything is looking, he knows they can make it. he knows they can do this. because he has him. because they have this. he pulls him close into a hug - no. no, not a hug. maybe for the first time, he gets what the word 'embrace' really means, and rests his chin on his shoulder.

they fit. like a puzzle. maybe this is the answer they've all been looking for. this connection. maybe if everyone could feel this trusting, this safe ... he laughs a little, softly]

That's my name, don't wear it out.

[Eddie sighs happily, wrapping his arms around Richie's waist. That closeness was EXACTLY what he needed. It makes him feel safe and warm, unlike everything else in this place. He closes his eyes and loses himself in that moment, letting the rest of camp just fall away. Nothing else matters but this.]

Shut up, Richie.

[He's smiling and there's a deep fondness in his voice. This moment wasn't for teasing. This moment was for genuine, true affection.]

[he just snuggles closer, forgetting where they are whatsoever. that fondness in Eddie's voice is the sweetest thing he's ever heard, it's everything.]

Make me, Spaghetti.

[Don't have to ask him, twice. Especially after you call him that stupid fucking name.

Eddie pulls back just far enough to kiss Richie again, his hand gently resting on his cheek.]
