WEEK 7
A new counselor, and a brutal execution. Camp just continues to surprise, doesn't it?
The rain is back, though this time it is in sprinkles and light showers. It helps bring the temperature down, but in the breaks between those mists the humidity is brutal.
The WiiU is still here, but for some reason none of the games will play. Instead all you can do is watch the faceless Mii on the Mii menu while the remaining Miis (minus Floe, Gonta, and Shirou) cower off to the sides.
Eleven of you are left. You have made it past the 'keep ten alive to the start of week 7' warning that Red gave, but what will happen now? Is this it? Is this who will survive? Or will more death happen? And what's going to happen to the dead?
A lot of questions still need answering.

[Legit question here, he has no idea how witches work, just that Marisa is a flashy and resourceful witchy witch of flying and fireworks: someone who makes her own way and is somehow willing to bring him along. But he does hear her offer -- and despite his confusion and the uncertainty of what they're trying to do he hears the weight behind it, her willingness to bet on whatever this is.
Whatever the camp will leave them once it's over.
Lenka is still kind of red in the face, but he does shuffle a little bit closer, looking thoughtful and nervous at once. It's some kind of multitasking.]
--I just, don't really know what I'm doing. [which might not apply just to the dating thing, but definitely does apply to it in particular; but then he's never been very good at the parts of life that others take for granted] But if-- I don't want to have regrets, either. So... we can. Do what you said.
[He's good at this.]

[ Wink wonk. That's about as non-cryptic as she can explain it, anyways. ]
That's okay, I can be the experienced one. [ har har har. Is her face getting a little red, too, or is it just the light...? ]
What, go on a date? [ a little laugh ] Of course, but...I like spendin' time with you general, yanno?

[It's an unusual title, but he likes the sound and boldness of it; it fits her, even if the whole winking thing that seems to come along with it is really going to start flustering him now that he knows the intent behind it. It reminds him a little of a moment a couple of months ago (a lifetime and an entirely different body ago), when he'd been in a very different place.
We are hope. The words feel a little faded and shorn in places, more than a little of the foundation ripped out, but he still believes in them. And in all the confusion and the whirlwind of today, this moment, it's what he thinks of.]
I like it. [even if, yeah, he's all red again from getting winked at and the fact that he can tell she's red, his eyesight is a little too keen] But I'll, uh, do my best to learn. And figure it out. I. We can spend time. We should make the most of our time.
[Don't mind his babbling, really, the point is that they have a little over a week left, and death is still waiting around every corner. He's here for this. #yolo]

She nods, but doesn't say anything else. It's one of those moments where she feels like opening her mouth might ruin things.
...if he doesn't shy away, though, she'll give him a quick peck on the cheek. :') ]

Really, it's been a little while since regular contact and skinship has been enforced on him and he'd almost forgotten how confusing and warming it could be, even apart from making him go hot with embarrassment.
A beat, and then Lenka reaches out to... snag at Marisa's hand before she can back up again too far, hesitating and staring at her for another few moments. He kind of looks like he wants to say something, or make some kind of face, but instead he carefully tugs her a little closer and then raises her fingers to his lips. It's very brief, and a little clumsy, and nothing like the formal gesture it usually is. Mostly, he's just stubbornly trying to do what he can and reach back a little, since she reached for him. He hasn't quite wrapped his head around all this enough yet to figure to do anything else. She'll have to be content with a spot of finger kisses for now.]

Marisa's legitimately caught off-guard, because to be honest, she expected Lenka to just turn into a plank of wood and stand there, not...reciprocate. Her face goes even redder than it was before. ]
2/2 (17 hours later........)
Marisa bounces a little on the toes of her boots, like she wants to jump forward but there's something holding her back, and--fuck it, if she gets sent up a tree, it'll be worth it. He's getting an intense cannonball hug. ]
Aww, jeez, you're real cute...!
