WEEK 7
A new counselor, and a brutal execution. Camp just continues to surprise, doesn't it?
The rain is back, though this time it is in sprinkles and light showers. It helps bring the temperature down, but in the breaks between those mists the humidity is brutal.
The WiiU is still here, but for some reason none of the games will play. Instead all you can do is watch the faceless Mii on the Mii menu while the remaining Miis (minus Floe, Gonta, and Shirou) cower off to the sides.
Eleven of you are left. You have made it past the 'keep ten alive to the start of week 7' warning that Red gave, but what will happen now? Is this it? Is this who will survive? Or will more death happen? And what's going to happen to the dead?
A lot of questions still need answering.

That is to say he gives her a curious look, but he's learned that the smallest deviations in coralfam behavior are all you're going to get, most of the time. He'll just have to take it (mostly) on faith, ironically, that Floe has her ear to the stone on the other side.]
It's hard to open your heart to something you can't see. [and it's not wholly Sol he has faith in at this stage; he's never been much of one for religion, but he believes in those who have died, and that will have to be enough] But I think we're getting there. You helped us on the way.
So... if you have any other ideas, let us know.

[Lenka looks a little dubious; he at least knows the basic spiels about religion and prayer and all that -- there had been a time when he'd been taught something like them, or at least seen them in practice, although it seems like a long, long time ago now. And none of it had ever really worked, so.
Also, praying to a small(?) rock god sounds like it should have some differences, even if Floe (bootleg) is so cheerful about it.]
I think it would be better if you could show it.

Sure, sure! Of course! Just follow my lead, okay?
[ She clasps her hands like before and bows her head, peeking over at him to see if he’s doing the same. ] First, just...try to clear your head and focus. Get in the right mindset, you know?

So... just focus. What am I focusing on...?
[Does he need to start picturing coral or dead people. Is that what this is.]

[ She giggles. ] Sorry, this stuff just comes naturally to me, I'm not used to explaining it! You just have to sort of relax and try to feel for Their presence. You'll know it when it happens.

[It sounds kind of like meditating, honestly, and focusing on Sol just means -- at this stage, he's just going to focus on the altar, because that's the most concrete representation he's got and telling him to feel for some other kind of presence or knowing isn't going to get him anywhere. At least he's realistic about his religious potential.
Lenka will close his eyes, though, slowing his breathing with deliberate care.
... Mostly, he just starts thinking of what's happening in the altar, and has to stop himself from getting distracted by the dead. As much as the biggest question is the state of souls not his own and how to save them, the point is that they need Sol to help them. Sol, a creature and perhaps a person, raised by the dead. He should probably be praying aloud or something, but true to form he keeps completely quiet throughout.
He's so quiet, in fact, that it might be necessary to poke him to realize he isn't asleep.]

After a few minutes of silence though, she can't help herself- opening one eye to peek at him, then nudging him gently with her elbow. ]
Well, well? Do you feel anything?

His brow wrinkles in a frown as he tries to recapture whatever his last thought was, but really -- he's no good at addressing himself to something divine. He can meditate, and he can focus singlemindedly to the exclusion of all else on the battlefield, but... He opens his eyes, but the frown stays, a little fainter.]
Ah, I don't know. I still don't really know what I'm supposed to be feeling. Should I be able to hear it?
[His only point of reference is the strange buzzing voice that's greeted them for nearly seven Mondays now.]
