I guess that makes sense... that's what gods used to be for.

[Unsaid, but: in the old days. Nowadays, back home and here, gods are just all kinds of trouble and mayhem that they're not worth. It remains to be seen what they can do about that. Maybe a kind of purification? Who knows.]
