It was... a bit of a mess sometimes.

[ The same way the living were, of course. And that is in itself suddenly very comforting. This kind of being a mess is very them and as much as Boa doesn't personally care about most people in camp, it is this group that brought them back. It's this group that made the last few weeks happen for good or bad. ]

[ He laughs quietly as he gives a nod. ]

Yeah, just a bit. But I'm kind of glad. I mean, we all pulled through this far. don't think there's any other group I'd be a mess with.

... I think I agree.

[ This is not a specific personal endorsement of every individual, so much as an acknowledgement that literally all of them had more impact on his life now than most people in his world ever could have. Boa wouldn't be able to forget any of them if he tried. ]

And it looks like we'll have to stick together a bit longer...

[ Nine is fine with them all being together a bit longer. He kind of wants to cherish this moment for as long as possible. ]

Hey, Mitsuru is a good kid.

I was going to stick with him anyway.

[ That's not even a question. With all his 11 year old determination, he has decided that they'll never part again. ]

I.. didn't think we'd get to stay together too though. I'm not happy about joining the organization, but that.. that I'm grateful for.

I know you were. I saw how you were smiling at him at the fireworks, yo.

[ Rubbing his head as he grins. He has to tease a tiny bit now that it's official and everyone is good. ]

Yeah, it means we can actually see each other now, huh?

[ Boa makes a bit of a face at Nine's comment about the visibility of his affections, but... he and Mitsuru literally kissed in public earlier, so what is he even trying to hide or deny here?

Seems so. I don't know where they'll take us, but we might even live close together sometimes...
