WEEK 3
Another Sunday, another day to rest and recover after trial. The weather is now uncomfortably hot and humid after all the rain - perfect swimming weather, if what happened during the execution didn't put you off from swimming for a good long while.
As before, The RV's have changed, but it might not be the best idea to go and bother them after last week's...well, mistake. Maybe give it a week to rest. Additionally, if anyone tries to play the Wii, they will find that Chloe, Talcott, and Sayama's Miis have disappeared - as well that the machine itself is spitting out some strange music at the home screen and the Mii channel. The games seem unaffected by the musical change, at least - and there's now a copy of Mario Party 9 ready to be played alongside Wii Sports. Try not to murder each other or fling the wiimotes into the tv, alright?
The rest of the camp is the same as always, though now fishing equipment is always left out near the lake and beach, and there's a taped on sign on the slope railing declaring 'DO NOT LEAN ON.' Looks like they finally noticed the hazard that thing could potentially be. The kitchen has been fully scrubbed, the faint scent of lemon wafting in the air. Hm.
Two weeks have gone by, and with it, 6 of your fellow campers are gone. There are only six weeks left - six long weeks, and your chances of making it out dwindle all the time.
Knowing that, what will you do?

[That's a little different from Lillith -- but at the same time, Sayama's case had been different from every other case they know of. An outlier, perhaps, like Soma. In a different direction. Lenka watches him and keeps talking to try to drown out the singing, the presence of the others.
He doesn't want to stay long, like this, but considering this morning he can't walk away, either.]
That was the second time we've seen the moose. I don't know what it wants.
no subject
If it's coming into the camp, then it's probably food. Though there should be plenty out there at this time of year.
Unless someone is leave food out for it? [He narrows his eyes at that.]
no subject
... I don't know what moose eat.
[What do moose eat. He's pretty sure the knowledge won't actually help them all that much, considering what it just ate last night.]
no subject
no subject
... It eats dolls, too. And it kills people.
[He doesn't really want to think about the moose munching on... anybody. It's not like they'd know, with the ones who got dragged into the forest. They're better off not knowing, maybe.]
no subject
Any animal will kill a person if threatened and they're able. Of course, it can easily run away here so that isn't an issue.
no subject
[Except, possibly, Marisa -- but in that case, oddly, nobody had been killed. The moose had contented itself with... taking away the doll? He doesn't understand how things like that work. Maybe it had been the magic. Maybe it had been sheer luck.]
... What do you last remember?
[He doubts it will be helpful, like with Lillith, but might as well ask.]
no subject
[He leans back into his pew.]
Remember? Was the party that good that I don't remember it, or the planing of it...Couldn't be. Something like that would be against the rules.
no subject
We haven't had any parties.
[They're a very boring and sad and uninspired lot. The zombies are going to have to take up the slack here.]
But you didn't answer me. What do you remember, before this morning?
no subject
[It gets him a stare. Then a bright smile as he jumps out of his chair.]
Ah you mean before I woke? I'm glad you asked. I had the most wonderful dream. Shinjou was here, both of them! And they were only wearing my shirts- But I cannot say anymore here.
no subject
[Okay, it's not like Lenka can refute the fact that he tends to kick rules in the teeth -- whether intentionally or otherwise, especially here -- but it feels obscurely more unpleasant to have one of the coral people point out possible shortcomings. He trails off into grumbling for a moment, but...
Is it really worth it to argue with a zombie. Honestly. He almost misses the rest of the implications Sayama manages to squeeze in.]
... That's not what I meant. I didn't know people like you could dream.
[Also he really didn't need to know that. What is it with everyone telling him their canoodling fantasies lately??]
no subject
[He looks proud at that, letting his eyes slide shut. There's not even a frown.]
no subject
[He doesn’t really mince words with that — it’s easier, now that there are more of the coralforms, even if none of them are all that helpful despite their numbers. Lenka doesn’t comment on Sayama’s inner world; at this point it’s a world that all of the coralforms are creating together, and he might as well... share it with his coral fellows rather than the living. If that’s a thing.
He hasn’t yet had a chance to observe how they interact with each other apart from the singing, and isn’t so sure he wants to.]
no subject
[Okay, that gets a frown as his eyebrows pinch together.]
no subject
[It's soft, carefully said, but he's paying attention; the fact that the coral creatures can at least acknowledge death rather than talking about pranks might be a step forward. It might not. It might just be Sayama being Sayama.]
And it's not a threat. People die here. That's a fact.
no subject
[Chisato is scary.]
no subject
[It might be a bit more forceful than merited -- even though maybe there's some merit to the idea that taste in partners or at least the mere idea of having taste in partners could factor into death flags, right? Right. But Lenka's going to ignore that part because he's got a single track mind.
And he's tired of dancing around that with dead people.]
Just because none of you want to remember it doesn't mean it isn't real.
no subject
[Now you're just being dumb. Even Kaku isn't this bad at making stuff up.]
And that's rude. I have the best memory and grades in my class.
no subject
[But this is certainly entering venting his frustrations at a literal brick wall territory, so he takes a deep breath and just... shakes his head.]
There are things you don't remember, or don't talk about. What will you do now?
