WEEK 3
Another Sunday, another day to rest and recover after trial. The weather is now uncomfortably hot and humid after all the rain - perfect swimming weather, if what happened during the execution didn't put you off from swimming for a good long while.
As before, The RV's have changed, but it might not be the best idea to go and bother them after last week's...well, mistake. Maybe give it a week to rest. Additionally, if anyone tries to play the Wii, they will find that Chloe, Talcott, and Sayama's Miis have disappeared - as well that the machine itself is spitting out some strange music at the home screen and the Mii channel. The games seem unaffected by the musical change, at least - and there's now a copy of Mario Party 9 ready to be played alongside Wii Sports. Try not to murder each other or fling the wiimotes into the tv, alright?
The rest of the camp is the same as always, though now fishing equipment is always left out near the lake and beach, and there's a taped on sign on the slope railing declaring 'DO NOT LEAN ON.' Looks like they finally noticed the hazard that thing could potentially be. The kitchen has been fully scrubbed, the faint scent of lemon wafting in the air. Hm.
Two weeks have gone by, and with it, 6 of your fellow campers are gone. There are only six weeks left - six long weeks, and your chances of making it out dwindle all the time.
Knowing that, what will you do?

Red doesn't know everything. Someone told her about the voices but she didn't realize it was encouraging us to murder. She contacted her superiors about it, but I haven't asked her again yet if they ever got back to her. I'd assume not, however. She has files on all campers who come here and knows all of our pasts. In previous camps, she was under the impression that the violent campers were the ones who would cause the most bloodshed, but that our group was particularly "good."
[Which sounds fake as hell, but.]
She isn't from this world, though she decided to stay here permanently. She's the only living person in her world, which is why there's no reason for her to return there.
When your memories were erased, she brought all of you somewhere else to do so. However, she can also erase our memories one on one if we do something we aren't supposed to. I've been a victim of this... twice, that I know of.
[He's. Still pretty pissed about that, honestly.]
She was a singer, not a fighter, but she has since acquired the skill, from what I can tell. She was dead tired after dealing with the fallout from the RVs, but when I reached over to prod her awake, she was alert immediately. Her sword, Blue, can warn her of danger.
[So yeah, let's maybe not try to gank Red, shall we?]

Thank you for sharing that, Ashikawa. I find it surprising she didn't realize there was a voice encouraging us to kill each other.
Is it. . . an anomaly? Or has she really been ignorant of it for eight years?
no subject
She truly did believe we were all simply sick with colds the first week.

We know Pines's memory has been altered so he perceives the camp extremely differently than we do.
Perhaps Red went through something similar?

If the two are connected, I want to know if there are sensitive pieces that were blocked, or if there's simply parts that she wasn't privy to when she took on this job, whatever it is.
no subject
[and hope she doesn't erase their memories, I guess]
And if we can eventually get through to her, then perhaps we'll be able to find the answer to your questions as well.

Dunno if she'd be of the age to be in this camp, but who else would want to protect Pines that badly, right?

...Mabel.

Red mentioned Mabel's name among others that she would never forget, if I'm not mistaken.

I asked Red. About the voices. She said she'd look into it and I...
[Well. He'd meant to do something about it, but the past week had seemed determined to drown that plan all the way down to the roots and change. Lenka hadn't precisely forgotten about it, but he's... not sure when he can deal with Red again nor how much to believe her, or rely on her. Same hat, Mitsuru.]
--She erased your memories?
[He sounds at least a little alarmed, there. Memory erasure isn't... great, even if the one last week had sort of gotten carried along in a big, huge wave of RV problems.]

[It's not a question with much hope of an answer, given how esoteric Red's skillset and powers in general seem to be, but if there's one thing he's learned around here it's to ask anyway.]
Does it have anything to do with her sword?
no subject
[What were you expecting from him, Lenka.]
no subject
He said he'd tell me more about them if he had any more.
