WEEK 3
Another Sunday, another day to rest and recover after trial. The weather is now uncomfortably hot and humid after all the rain - perfect swimming weather, if what happened during the execution didn't put you off from swimming for a good long while.
As before, The RV's have changed, but it might not be the best idea to go and bother them after last week's...well, mistake. Maybe give it a week to rest. Additionally, if anyone tries to play the Wii, they will find that Chloe, Talcott, and Sayama's Miis have disappeared - as well that the machine itself is spitting out some strange music at the home screen and the Mii channel. The games seem unaffected by the musical change, at least - and there's now a copy of Mario Party 9 ready to be played alongside Wii Sports. Try not to murder each other or fling the wiimotes into the tv, alright?
The rest of the camp is the same as always, though now fishing equipment is always left out near the lake and beach, and there's a taped on sign on the slope railing declaring 'DO NOT LEAN ON.' Looks like they finally noticed the hazard that thing could potentially be. The kitchen has been fully scrubbed, the faint scent of lemon wafting in the air. Hm.
Two weeks have gone by, and with it, 6 of your fellow campers are gone. There are only six weeks left - six long weeks, and your chances of making it out dwindle all the time.
Knowing that, what will you do?

Lenka nods back at him, equally a little wry, but he quiets down in a moment to think over the question. And maybe he'll have to... bring up their suspicions after all.]
... No. We haven't tried cracking it yet. I was thinking about comparing it to the video discs we keep getting -- the ones with Red in them. I think they're the same material, so...
[So, it's not all that far off from what Lance is suggesting. It's just terrible to think about, given what they've learned lately.]

Right. I was telling Eddie about this... [Pause.[ trying to tell Eddie about this, but it looks like they're using some tech similar to what we had on the Castle of Lions that allowed us to extract memories and information from people's brain and turn it into computerized data that can be manipulated.
[A sigh.]
I don't want to think that's what's going on though.

Do you remember, when we were talking about the possibility of everyone having that sort of material... rock... in them on Monday? Chuuta told me that Drew noticed it on the inside. Not just in the brain.
[Now you can't turn back from the body horror abyss. Enjoy that.]
So the discs being created from living people -- it's possible.
[It's way too probable.]

The words "that's not funny, Lenka" come to mind as a knee jerk response, but he knows Lenka doesn't joke. Not about something like this anyway. So he just... slowly puts his hand to his head and closes his eyes.]
So we're all....
[Stone zombies? Infected? Potentially not even really themselves anymore? As much as he wants to say that can't be right, he knows trying to argue against isn't going to get them anywhere productive. If that is the case, then it's best to accept it and do something about it as soon as possible. But all the same, he's still going to say it.]
That's not funny, Lenka.

[That serves as a blanket response to everything because it really isn't something that anyone can make better right now, in any way -- it feels like this camp is just an endless litany of bad news, even when they've succeeded at missions and prevented anyone from getting killed. Well. There's something to be grateful for, but it ain't the news.
At this point the alien porn's just been subsumed into the general misfortune of the day.]
If we need to, we can see what we can get from... the others who have died here.
[He doesn't really want to do brain surgery on their resident coral cabinmates, but maybe...
a fingera shard or two would be enough. Since they aren't otherwise cooperative. But that might be further down the road.]
