WEEK 3

Another Sunday, another day to rest and recover after trial. The weather is now uncomfortably hot and humid after all the rain - perfect swimming weather, if what happened during the execution didn't put you off from swimming for a good long while.

As before, The RV's have changed, but it might not be the best idea to go and bother them after last week's...well, mistake. Maybe give it a week to rest. Additionally, if anyone tries to play the Wii, they will find that Chloe, Talcott, and Sayama's Miis have disappeared - as well that the machine itself is spitting out some strange music at the home screen and the Mii channel. The games seem unaffected by the musical change, at least - and there's now a copy of Mario Party 9 ready to be played alongside Wii Sports. Try not to murder each other or fling the wiimotes into the tv, alright?

The rest of the camp is the same as always, though now fishing equipment is always left out near the lake and beach, and there's a taped on sign on the slope railing declaring 'DO NOT LEAN ON.' Looks like they finally noticed the hazard that thing could potentially be. The kitchen has been fully scrubbed, the faint scent of lemon wafting in the air. Hm.

Two weeks have gone by, and with it, 6 of your fellow campers are gone. There are only six weeks left - six long weeks, and your chances of making it out dwindle all the time.

Knowing that, what will you do?

[ It makes it easier to fall into routine when Tal acts like it's normal. His gaze falls away once he's back to shaving. He's going to keep thinking of that sound every time he notices Tal's face. Then his shirt is back on and Nine is putting his hands on his waist from behind. Dropping his forehead onto his shoulder. ]

Would have been more fun if you left it off, yo.

[ His voice is quiet, but he's trying to sound like a tease. Trying to keep it normal. He is thankful that the shirt is back on. The others in cabin three do not need to see what's missing. ]

You know, it's starting to fade. The mark you left on me.

[Nine's hands settle on his waist and he leans back into the taller boy, smiling softly, tipping his head to rest his cheek against Nine's head.]

That wouldn't be very appropriate, darlin.

[It wasn't expressly against the rules but it wouldn't be right, not with the kids around.]

Mark? What did I...?

[ Turning to nuzzle against his cold neck. ]

Wouldn't be the first time.

[ He's slowly sounding more and more normal. ]

You gave me a memento. [ Not even going to pretend he got it some where else. He can't do that because it's something special. ] Wish you left more of them.

[ He will give a light peck against his skin. ~~And this is why the kids give him judgement faces~~]

Nine... [Soft and scolding but he doesn't actually pull away.]

A memento? What- [A memento of what? Nine you're being weird. The brush of lips against his throat does make him finally shift away a little.]

Stoooop. [Embarrassed and giggly.]

[ The embarrassed and giggly reminds him of when all of this between them started. The light teasing that turned into something heated... Shifting his arms to fold over Tal's stomach to try to keep him there. ]

It's just us here, yo. [ it's also the restrooms and anyone can walk in. ]

Hey, can I kiss you?

[He doesn't pull away, settles back into Nine's arms. This is nice, why does he have to keep pushing for more?]

You know that's against the rules.

[ Resting his chin on his shoulder as he gives him a squeeze. ]

Yeah, I know. I'll just have to make up for it all once we're out of here, yo.

You're gonna come visit me?

[Will you sway with him a little Nine? He's too happy to stand still right now.]

oh! Speaking of hometowns and everything... How are things going with the boys?

[Gossip with him about 13 year olds in love.]

I'd like to. You could come see me, too. It'd be like a vacation.

[ Let's just avoid the death and war.

Nine does sway with him. Back and forth, almost like a dance. ]

Don't think they hashed it out, yet. Planning on asking them tonight.

[He reaches down to squeeze Nine's arms, tugging them tighter around him. Humming soft and contented.]

That'd be nice. Vacations... I could meet your siblings...

[Talcott turns his head, blinks up at him for a moment, squeezing his hand just a little too hard. Then laughs, soft and amused.]

These boys. They need a push, don't they?

[ He shifts his arms to hold him tighter. Tal meeting his siblings, huh? He wonders who he would like best of the bunch. ]

Yeah, you can. [ He's sounding more enthusiastic. ] And then after the war we can-

[ Nine freezes at that because the thought of after the war trips him up. The squeeze pulls him out of it, but he doesn't feel it as hard as he normally should. The second sense he's starting to lose today is his sense of touch. ]

I think they'll work it out. I'll keep them safe to give them time, yo.

[ He'd keep them safe anyways. ]

[Talking about meeting his siblings is exciting!]

And you can meet my siblings too! [Because he definitely has those, right? He just completely skims over the mention of war. And the "keeping safe" part of the latter.]

They'll never work it out if they keep avoiding things. They're still young, though. We've just gotta give them time.

[ Nine hasn't looked at his sketchbook since that time. He's been refusing, and now it might not be there. ]

I should see if Stan can get me a pic, yo. Then you can see all of Class-0.

[ He could see how they aren't alike at all. Nine is also okay skipping the war part. The later is going to remain like an itch but he's going to close a door on it. ]

Mm. I'll let you know how it goes tonight.

Yeah... Gladio and Iris. [Ren's got his notebook by now but they can definitely share.] I'd like to see a picture of you guys.

Good luck. I get the feeling these boys aren't going to make things easy.

[ He knows Tal is going to say no, but he's turning his head to give him a kiss on the cheek. ]

Gladio and Iris. [ He's repeating it to get it in his head. He doesn't know those are flower names. ]

Yeah, they are working through a lot of dumb from their world. [ They had that talk, but he's not sure if Tal will remember it. ]

Their home town [Which is clearly what Nine said] has a lot of backwards ideas.

Hopefully they can learn to accept things here. Maybe change a few minds when they go home.

Hey, you remember.

[ It's moments like these that keep building up his hope only for it to come crashing down terribly later on. Nine is moving his hands down to tug at Tal's shirt. ]

I think everyone here can help them out. They seem pretty cool with our situation before, yo.

[ The one guy with two boyfriends. ]

Of course I remember.

[A playful swat. His memory is excellent, thank you.]

They're good kids. I hope they learn to embrace what they have. It'd be silly to waste it.
