You've got all your senses back, but with the return of them comes a grim, familiar knowledge -

- that one of your fellow campers have committed murder.

Someone is dead. It's up to you to find out who...and to gather evidence for it.

[But yes, FOOTPRINTS.While Nine goes following them, Lance will check to see how big those footprints are compared to his own feet!]

[Nine can follow, Mitsuru will also be doing a size comparison with her own feet! WHO WINS: Lance or her??]

[The footprints look like they go from one side of the area to the other. Do you guys want to follow them to their source, or to where they went?

Also, the footprints are black, like someone stepped in black paint or something.]

[ Nine looks back at them. He'll point to himself and then point to where they lead. Do one of them want to go to source?

Nine then follows them to where they lead. ]

[Lance sees Nine signaling, but frowns and will actually look closer at these black footprints.]

You can go ahead with him, Mitsuru. I'm sure he needs supervision or something. I'll catch up in a minute I just... have a bad feeling.

[Bending down closer to the ground to touch the footprints. Can he tell what the substance is by smell?]

[glances back at Lance with consideration, before she nods]

All right. But be careful, Lance.

[then, to Nine]

[she'll be following Nine to the source!]

[The black stuff feels like blood would.

The footprints start over by the bottom of the slope, where the other crew is dealing with Natsume and the mess over there.

Another thing to note: whoever made these footprints was limping.]

[ He stops when he sees Natsume and Richie down there. He can see Richie is moving at least but...

Turning around to head to the other way now before he says or does something stupid. ]

Looks like they got it, yo. Let's check the other way.

[Meanwhile, the implications of all this are sinking in horribly.]

[Oh god, no. Please no??? He catches up to Mitsuru and Nine alright, but his entire demeanor's changed. Like seriously, no more fucking around.]

...Guys, that's Clarke's blood I... we gotta keep looking.

[Mitsuru actually takes a step forward, towards Natsume, her hand resting on the handle of her evoker. but then Lance speaks, and she whips around to face them both]

Griffin? And Sakasaki?

[for a moment, she hesitates, as though debating on where she is needed the most. then she closes her eyes and nods]

All right. Let's go. I imagine, if these black footprints are related to her in some way, they'll lead us to where she is.

[and she might be hurt!! she'd go help Natsume but from this distance she can't tell he's alive so lol]

[If they follow the footprints in the other direction, they'll find that they lead past the canoe cabin and continue along near the edge of the water, walking along it. But eventually the footprints stop, in a way that seems to indicate the walker (limper?) kept walking but there wasn't enough blood on their shoes to make imprints in the grass anymore.

It looks like the footprints were headed towards the other beach though?]

[ Which means it'll be fine. Nine does look at Lance srsly he can't take you srsly with that on ]

[ Heading towards the other beach and keeping an eye opened for any floor candy thing along the way. ]

[Lance is baaaaarely paying attention to what Nine's commentary there b/c his mind is racing hella fast right now. He follows that path kinda like he's in some kinda trance about the whole thing.]
