You've got all your senses back, but with the return of them comes a grim, familiar knowledge -

- that one of your fellow campers have committed murder.

Someone is dead. It's up to you to find out who...and to gather evidence for it.

[There's a lot around, actually!

A lot of blood, that is. Sooooo much blood on the ground. And this black stuff too that's mixing with the blood.

It's also worth inspecting the piece of railing too.]

[so that's what happened to the railing. is that how Natsume tore his shirt? Richie squats down on the ground next to it, careful not to get any blood or black stuff on his shoes]

[It looks like it was broken off, and one end is very jagged and splintery, and little bits will flake off easily if Richie pokes at them. That same end is also covered in red blood for a couple inches. It sure did get jammed in someone, probably.]

[oh gross, he's not touching the bloody end. he picks it up by the clean end, though, since fingerprints aren't a thing here, and looks at the rest of it. so this ... is probably a murder weapon. how long is it? is it heavy for him to pick up, as a bitty?]

[It's about the length of one section of the railing that goes down the slope. So maybe 5-ish feet? But broken.

It is a bit heavy for him but he can still pick it up and move it.]

... [that'd be pretty awkward to stab someone with. intentionally. but it's - okay, this is weird. how could it have gotten broken in the first place? anything that might give him any idea? both ends are roughly broken, right? the clean one isn't cut, or anything?]

If he looks up he'll see that the railing a good 20-ish feet up above him at the top of the slope is broken? Over where Lenka and Floe investigated.]

Holy fuck.

[he looks around. how steep is the slope, exactly, anyway?]

[Very steep. There's a reason the path has railings. If someone fell off of it, they would drop straight down twenty feet to the ground below.]

[And here's Chuuta coming back over to Richie after sending Natsume back up the hill.]

Did you find anything?

[yeah, that's not good. he's going to check the ground immediately under the broken railing at the bottom of the slope. anything else? holes in the dirt, disturbances, particular blood spots?]

[Lots and lots of blood, mostly. Someone definitely got hurt and was bleeding there.]

Where are the twins? [That's not really a question so much as it is a concerned outburst.]

[The place where an injury would be, under the hole in his clothes, if I hadn't made a typo there.

Is that where the blood on the clothes seems to have come from?]

I hope someone else found them.

You don't remember anything else? Do you remember anything like... I don't know, like somebody moving you? Or waking up at all?

[ the blood on natsume's shirt, as well as the tear, definitely seem consistent with a stab wound of some sort.
