After...party...?
[SO THAT SURE WAS AN EXECUTION, HUH
Shirou's just been kind of staring off into space, still holding on to Usagi's hand, ever since Kon and Natsume's deaths. Just when it starts to look like he might stay like that all hecking night, he suddenly blinks and looks around.]
I'm going to go get some food.
[And indeed, he disappears off to the lodge and returns a little later with a huge pile of beautifully made sandwiches and other snacks. Did he have them prepared, or did he just make them really fast somehow? Who knows.
Anyway, there are now sandwiches. And the shack might still be on fire. This is fine.]

[ He's quiet for a moment, trying to reach for some memory he doesn't have somewhere in the deep recesses of his mind. ]
Big cats? Bitier cats? I feel like dat's right...
no subject
They're bigger than cats. But I think they're more like dogs.
[He does not sound completely certain about this. He's not sure if there are Aragami related to wolves, either, so that doesn't help.]
They're hunters, I think? Maybe that's why.
[Slightly shady international organizations need to stop randomly co-opting Norse myth, is what we're getting at here.]

[ A frustrated sigh as he takes another sandwich and begins to eat it. After a bite, he just adds: ]
I mean, dey all animals, right? Like de cat? How dey all so different? Since I got here, I seen all dis different stuff, it ain't like demons! Demons all... people-y.

[This is the part where they're really going to need pictures to fix this, since it seems like words are just going to lead to further problems... Lenka thinks it over for a moment while Cielo chews his way through the most of the sandwiches, and then reaches over for a rock.
He does a quick sketch in the dirt, which, even if he's not really an artist... is still at least recognizable as a creature of some kind that is definitely not a cat. Hopefully.]
I guess Dyaus looks more like people. But... [not really?] This is what the wolf pictures look like, back home.

[ He says, staring at it. ]
Dis big huuuuge demon, three heads... I wonder if dat's why de Wolves were called de Wolves? We had a rival Tribe, dat joined up wid us eventually, dat was deir name, I never did figure out what it meant, but it always felt familiar.

[He hasn't seen any in the archives with three heads, but it's possible that there's an Aragami version out there somewhere like that? Aragami do tend to be new and improved and deadlier versions of literally anything, so adding a few heads sounds pretty legit.
It might be the same for demons, come to think of it. Though Dyaus is still his only point of reference, and Dyaus is nothing like a Dyaus Pita
chip, apart from the lightning.]Did the other Tribe's demon forms... look like wolves?
[Or is it like Fenrir. Did they just think wolves sounded cool.]

[ He is unhelpful on this front, unfortunately. ]
I knew dey was demons, but not what dey looked like. Jus' deir leader, 'cause we had to fight him, since he got hit by de hunger...

[That makes a curious sort of sense; even if Cielo spent most of his time back home fighting, there would have had to be alliances -- devour your enemies and spend human time with your allies. It's a funny sort of dichotomy, but not that strange, to him.
Speaking of hunger, the sandwiches are probably gone by now, huh. He debates washing it in the lake water, but that might be counter-productive. He still isn't done with his own, actually. This is probably the slowest he's ever eaten, minus this last week when he was literally dropping everything. Thanks, sense of touch.]
The hunger... what happened to him?
no subject
[ He makes a face. He hates that man. That man that put so much confusion into their identities, that caused them so much hurt, that made Sera so obviously upset-- ]
Varin Omega happened to 'em.
[ It's a name said with about as much venom as Cielo can muster. ]
no subject
He's an enemy. What did he do?
[It's a general invite to vent, but also a specific sort of question, since whatever the hunger is it doesn't sound like a normal sort of attack.]
no subject
[ He scowls. ]
He got dis power from somewhere... Angel, I'm guessin'. He was able to make people crazy wid de Hunger. If Sera hadn't been wid us, we prolly woulda eaten one another.
no subject
[He remembers Cielo describing that scene, his expression and reactions. To have that repeated would probably... not end well, regardless of whether or not anyone had been eaten. No wonder he spoke so reverently of Sera all the time, if she was that important to them. He digests this for a few moments, and not just because I accidentally made an eating pun there.]
That's what Sera saves you from...
