WEEK 5 - TRIAL
It takes a full day after finding the body, but on Saturday, the counselors call you all to the campfire, the bonfire already roaring away as everyone finds their seats. Stan and Red are seated there, with Stan holding a box saying 'VOTES' written on it.
It looks like you're here to find the killer.
And just like before, you know you'll be forced to vote before the night's over...
And condemn someone to a grisly fate.
CAMPERS REMAINING: 15

I don't want to die!
[ And now he is going to. He's going to die here, as a complete failure. It's too much. His legs give out and he's just on his knees in the sand now. ]

[Richie's voice is cold, now, quiet. hard. he looks down at his hand, at the scar there. a reminder of promises]
I won't vote for you.
But you did this on purpose, and you tried to make someone else go down for it.
You're no Loser.
Losers pull people together. Not apart. I was FRIENDS with Chuuta, and now he probably won't even go near any of us again because of how you made us all treat him yesterday!
You don't want to die? NEWS FLASH, NONE OF US DO. It doesn't mean YOU FUCKING KILL FOR IT, BOA! And ... and ... it could've been one of us chucking that paint can at you by mistake. Would you have killed us, too? Because people like US, too.
I --
I'll keep my promise, but congratulations. As much as you didn't want to die, you're sure as fuck dead to me right now.

Richie's right. He's no Loser... not anymore.]

Friends make you weak.
The eternal mantra of the Snake Pit. Even though Boa hadn't spent his whole life in there, it is carved into his core nevertheless.
He'd tried to let go of it here and he'd enjoyed it... He hated how much he did, but there was nothing that could take it back once he had opened his heart. Boa'd never loved anyone before he came to this camp.
Camp Petoskey is the worst place in all possible universes, Boa is sure of it. But there's also been no place where he has ever been this happy. A kind of tingling happiness that he could have never even imagined before. Something he never missed, simply because he had never known it. Now he knows that even if he were to survive this by some crazy miracle, he'll never be able to fill this hole again. He'll never be able to go back to being a Snake Pit blader, someone who can only live for himself. Whatever happens now, Boa's done for. This is the end for him and everything he ever wished for.
He can't respond. He doesn't have anything. He just buries his head in his hands and lets out strangled sobs. It's the kind of ugly crying that makes you wonder if the person is choking on their own tears. And maybe if he could drown himself in them right now that would just be fine. ]
