TRIAL

It takes a full day after finding the body, but on Saturday, the counselors call you all to the campfire, the bonfire already roaring away as everyone finds their seats. Stan and Red are seated there, with Stan holding a box saying 'VOTES' written on it.

It looks like you're here to find the killer.

And just like before, you know you'll be forced to vote before the night's over...

And condemn someone to a grisly fate.

1. In the mess hall, Nine and Boa finds a headless body
2. Pink smudges on the back of the body from paint.
3. The head was removed after death.
4. Marks on the neck.
5. After getting the head from the kitchen, the marks are revealed to be hand prints from hands smaller than Nine's.

KITCHEN

- Usagi's head was in the freezer with half of the handprints visible on the edge of her neck. It had been there long enough to freeze to the floor of the freezer. There were no footprints or other visible evidence. It was not a hallucination.

Pavillion

There was an empty bucket that previously held pink paint, judging by the color splashed on the lid.

Cabin 3

Lenka, Chuuta, Eddie, and Richie (guest starring Nine) found and argued over pink paint on Chuuta's bunk and the outside of his trunk.

[there's a trail of sand leading from the time out shack to Red's room in the lodge!]

Time Out Shack

1. There was disturbed sand by the shack.
2. The disturbed sand leads to the lodge but footprints can't be made out. There's also splashes of pink paint around, and a person-shaped smudge against the building, still wet. It looked like someone was sitting or leaning against the wall.
3. Someone being a woman about 4'11" in height, as a matter of fact. Nothing in the shack itself.

[Stan doesn't look happy, but he's here.]

[Red's here, 30 minutes late with starbucks again.

Except the starbucks has some strong liquor in it. Y'all are driving her to drink.]

[ As people are still settling down around the campfire and the trial hasn't really started yet, Boa makes his way to Mitsuru. He's holding a launcher and Rising Ragnaruk and once he reaches Mitsuru, he just thrusts his hands out to hold them as if they're an offering. ]

I know you won't have much use for this in Vision, but I want you to have them.

[ This is... awkward. He's not even sure what kind of face someone is meant to make in this situation. ]

… happy birthday.

[ It's not happy by a long shot, with camp like this and the trial coming right up, but that's what you're meant to say, right? ]

[It's not been a good birthday. The exhaustion is growing harder and harder to combat (the soft patter of blood falling from a barely perceptible knife on one's mattress is not so nearly as calming as the similar sound of rain; it's a miracle he didn't scream and wake the whole cabin), and in light of the day, he's wearing his more subdued, non-camp clothes, the black sorcerer robes worn loosely around his shoulders.

So, with that said.

Boa's gift catches him entirely off guard, and maybe it's the weariness, maybe it's something else, but - he looks far more surprised by this than anything else that's happened in the camp, staring at the beyblade and launcher for a moment before reaching out to take them.]

...Thank you, Boa.

[It's fine if Boa doesn't know what to say. Honestly, Mitsuru himself isn't too sure either.]

[ FIRST THING, Nine is just going to approach everyone. ]

Let me see your hands, yo.

[ Nine is checking size comparison to the marks on Usagi and if there's any paint in the nail beds, nails, or rubbed on the skin some where. ]

[Shirou's hands are bigger than the marks and clean of any paint.]

[Richie holds them up. he's ... tentatively looking Nine in the eye as he does so. are you still going to be a dick, today? even if you are, he's clean]

[ Boa's hands are small so they should be feasible for the mark. They're also clean. ]

[Eddie holds out his hands. They're small, but clean.]

[Mitsuru's hands are predictably small, but clean.]

You beat me to it. I was in Cabin 3 with Nine after Red kicked everyone else out.

Cause of Death

So, um ... has anyone really thought about the fact that we still don't know how Usagi was killed? Red said that she cut her head off after, and didn't mess with the paint ... so how would someone kill her by just touching her neck? Strangle her? Magic?

Ren, did you see anything weird?

Since there were marks on her neck, wouldn't it make sense to assume she was strangled?

[ Nine is going to approach Chuuta. ]

Hey, Drew. Can we ask you some questions, yo?

Yeah. [Chuuta says.

Drew pops out of Chuuta to look at the group. He looks... pretty darn transparent right now, and (if you're good at reading the expressions of mascot characters) pretty stressed out.]

Okay, now that we've sort-of dealt with Chuuta and Drew, let's get back to basics.

[To defeat, the Huns]

We know that there was some sort of confrontation at the beach, a smear on the shed around Usagi's size: so likely that was where she was strangled, then Red helped cover it up. Let's see if we can walk through each event and see if it narrows down our suspects.

Do we have any idea about the time of death? If it was after curfew, none of their alibis matter.

Okay, we have a small pool of people it could be- Floe, Richie, Eddie, Boa, Chuuta and Mitsuru. Chuuta is out, and if someone was able to plant the paint odds are they were able to get into C3 without it being noticeable. Especially if Red helped them

So we're looking at Eddie, Richie and Boa being most likely.

Alright you three, go over everything you did Thursday night. In detail.

Hey! I was with Nine all fucking night!

[ This happens and Boa abruptly recoils from Eddie and backs off from everyone at the campfire. The look on his face is one of despair and there are tears in his eyes. ]

Stop... stop giving me that look... you don't know... you don't know....

[itsagazebo]

[Eddie looks like he's been slapped, but he lets Boa go.]

What... what is it?

EXECUTION: MOB MENTALITY (cw: gore, body horror) PART 1/2

[Red reads through all of the votes, and she looks up to the group and scowls.]

Despite some of you trying to get an unrelated party executed, Boa Alcacer has been deemed culpable for the murder of Usagi Tsukino. He will now face punishment.



[Red will hold out a hand to Boa, to lead him away. Boa doesn’t respond, instead choosing to glare at her. After a moment, Red sighs and raises her hand to snap her fingers.

All at once, the zombified campers look directly at Boa. They walk towards him, moving to separate him from anyone who might be close to him or hanging onto him. Then they will drag him away from the group. They don’t stop there, though. Oh no, this is just getting started.]

[She starts to sing, rising up from her seat as she grabs a stone]
