WEEK 6

Last week had been pretty brutal, leaving scars on everyone in camp. A murder driven by paranoia-induced visions, committed by and against two of the youngest members of camp, has left everyone reeling. If this is the way murders will go, what's to happen next?

The humidity is dropping off some, but the heat is staying strong. The campers will need to find new ways to beat the heat. A delivery is due this week though, so maybe the camp's deliveryman will have some ice cream?

The WiiU and current games are all here, but there are no new games. Sorry everyone, you're stuck with what you have. Usagi and Boa are now gone from the Mii menu, but that strange faceless Mii is still there, staring as always. His grin seems to have grown though, and the Mii menu music has changed as well. The other Miis seem scared of the grinny Mii, and they are staying far away from him. Now the only selectable Mii is grin-face. How weird.

The counselors have said they need 'more time' to end this, but just how much time do they need? Can the campers really stall long enough for the counselors to finish their plan? And how does that knowledge sit with them, knowing that each delayed week means less campers will make it in the end?

[He whirls around to glare at Archer directly. He's still holding the knife, which might look kind of threatening if they weren't both intensely aware of how completely incapable Shirou is of being a threat to his future self.]

This whole "ooh look at me I'm so much better than you" thing doesn't hold up all that well, considering you didn't even have the guts to talk to me on the phone two weeks ago.

A. Dr. Kaspbrak-little

[There's a sight many will find familiar by now. Eddie's sitting on the grass by the woods, with a little pile of food and treats next to him. He's chilling out, waiting for any animals that might come by... especially if they've got stripes and a little mask. Somehow, he feels a little steadier than he has in a couple of weeks, so he's sitting somewhat closer than usual.

He's pinned a blade of grass between his thumbs and is using it as a whistle to amuse himself while he waits.]

I wanna B the very best

[Boa might be... mostly... gone, but Eddie still remembers their conversations about working out and getting stronger. He doesn't have much to do, so why not take that advice? He also made an amazing discovery among the stuff Archer was throwing out!

b1 - RICHIE

[Eddie tracks Richie down, grinning from ear to ear. He's also wearing a red polo shirt instead of the stupid camp shirt.] Yo, asshole! LOOK WHAT I GOT!

[He is BESIDE himself with glee as he drags Richie to where he's propped their bikes on their kickstands! A few of Richie's shirts are draped unceremoniously over the handlebars of his bike]

[Eddie (possibly with Richie by his side) can be found biking around camp. He doesn't usually take his bike off-road, so he's not used to handling it on dirt and grass. But he doesn't care. It's his bike, a piece from home, something familiar that he can hold onto. Something that absolutely brightens his spirits - something he desperately needed!]

[. . . strangely enough, she finds herself jumping when Lenka does, something yanking at her heart and coursing down her spine. her shoulders are tense, and she has to take a deep breath to get herself to relax. weird. . .]

[her arm still aches, but she does notice when the pain dies down. she just hasn't linked it with Lenka's movements just yet]

I do, yes. I fight with a rapier, but that's only because I took fencing classes growing up.

[He laughs]

Hey! I don't know shit about magic, so I don't fucking know! [He steps forward, wading a little into the water to get a closer look]

How does it work?

[RED HE'D THOUGHT THAT CONVERSATION WAS PRIVATE!! WHY WAS HE PUT ON SPEAKERPHONE???

He's clearly off balance, but he gives a 'tch' and shakes his head.]

I was busy at the time, doing things you would raise a fuss about.

[He's... still a little wary of being around Ren too much but there's a familiar black and green scarf included in one of those hauls that he can't stop himself from following. So he trails after Ren, ducking into cabin 4 after him so he can pluck up the scarf from the pile as soon as he sets it down.]

Auntie Monica gave me this... [Just running the heavy material through his fingers. It's way too hot to wear it here but he's probably going to anyway.]

Yeah, Richie said... I've been staying out by the campfire. [He winces] I don't know if I can sleep in that cabin again...

[STATICKY MOUTH NOISES]

What was that? Sorry, the reception's really bad. Can't hear a word you're saying.

Basically, it's just moldin' the water like clay. Ya push it into different shapes.

[ The one around her arm promptly collapses, falling water wetting the sand below her feet. ]

It's just keepin' 'em solid that's givin' me trouble. [ If that happened while she was 30 feet below the surface, she'd be dead meat. ]

I know more about it than any of you here.

[Blunt but...honestly? Not true, considering he didn't know who Sol was.

And there's a pause, due to that question - his eyes staring off into the distance for a moment as he thinks about how to word this.]

...potentially. But I'm here to oversee the ending stages of the ritual.

[Eddie stands at a distance, curiously watching the process. He never thought to ask Stan if any of his clothes from home were there, because they weren't anything special, but he's curious if they might be in that pile. Of course, he's also looking for any of Richie's printed t-shirts and loud button up shirts, too. Those are more special than his stupid polo shirts. But still... it might be nice to have something from home.

He feels weird asking about it since it's just clothes. It's not like their bikes would be hidden somewhere in that mess, right... that's the only other thing from home he'd really want. But what the hell would he do with it?

So, yeah, Eddie's just going to be a creeper since he doesn't fucking know what to say to this dude.]

Tal... well, it's yours- hoping everyone will find their stuff eventually so I'll know what is actually Stan's.

[He matches it, face impassive.]

You should have enough information on that to come to a conclusion yourself.

[He pulls his shirt down: white, with a stylized star pattern on one side.]

[He nods]

Yeah, 'cause you don't want it to fall apart while you're swimming. What... what would you need me to do?

[Lillith wanders, and as Archer dumps out things, a small antique ring box stumbles out, she immediately kneels opening it - and soon places a a ring of entwining snakes with emeralds and diamonds, placing it upon her left ring finger, peering at it before resuming her wandering of the camp]

[Honestly, He could just fucking toss this knife in Shirou's face and be done with it. But that would feel like losing, and he can't mess with the ritual that much at this point.

So he just angrily finishes up cutting the meat, washing his hands with constrained fury and grabbing some rice to wash.]

Why would you even want to talk to me, anyway? I have better things to do than to talk to my idiot past self.

Yeah, I know the feeling. I'll go back eventually, but...

[ He just keeps seeing it. And none of the cabins are free of zombies or bad feelings... ]

Do you know if they talked?

They did... I... I still haven't talked to him, yet.

[ Time is doing that funny, awkward thing of feeling much longer than it is. He waits until the shirt is down before he finally decides to walk over to him. ]

Hey, are you doing any better?

[ Taps the broom handle ]

It's pretty sturdy, ze. I've given rides before.

I guess so. Cielo helped me get to sleep last night so I feel more... here. It'd be dumb to ask if you're okay, but... I was worried.
