Week 6 After Party(??)
[Well... that was sure a thing.
A fucking terrifying thing, but a thing, nonetheless.
Eddie stokes the fire a little, trying to chase back some of the shadows creeping up on the circle. He might not be able to do much but he does his best to try to make it seem at least a little more comforting than it feels. He crosses to the woods and picks up a a bunch of long narrow sticks, bringing them back and setting them near enough to the fire for people to grab them if they want. Archer might be cooking in the kitchen, and he sure as shit isn't going to interrupt that to ask him for food, but he does sneak in just long enough to grab the makings for s'mores.
So there are now sticks, marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate bars near the fire. He also snagged some of the blank paper and crayons Richie had been using to make drawings for the time-out shack, so if anyone feels like some art therapy, there ya go.
He can be found lighting a marshmallow on fire. He doesn't seem interested in eating it, though, since it looks like it's about to melt off the stick.]

Sunday Magic Fight After The Shounens
If they're having fights for funsies, why not?
Once Mitsuru's got a good grasp of the rules and how to bend his magic to have the correct effects, he walks over to the clearing, now devoid of shounens, and begins casting. Perhaps sensing his intent, the crystal atop his staff glows several colors: red, green, blue, and then amber.
First, he summons a wind spirit, granting him flight. Indeed, the air around him seems to swirl as it lifts him off of the ground. Next is the seawyrm, a sea serpent that's been shrunk as with all other summons, yet still capable of surrounding him with globes of water - probably the best thing he can use as nonlethal, magical bullets.
Each can take only so many hits before they lose. Time to see if his own spells are up to snuff.]
Ready when you are, Kirisame.

Suffice to say, she's feeling a little overconfident, if only because dodging magic bullets is something she does all the time. She's fast and strong, but has the hardiness of a plastic bag. If something knocks her off her broom, she's pretty much down for the count.
A few sparkling orbs wait near her, ready to fire off bullets at her direction. ]
Right. [ She holds up the Hakkero in front of her, and it begins to glow and radiate heat. ]
Star Sign "Dragon Meteor"!
[ This one's...easy-ish....by Marisa standards at least. It's more or less a rainbow shotgun, but there's only the one laser to dodge and no stray bullets. ]

Marisa zips up and down to avoid their path, firing off her spell a few more times as it propels her upwards. ]

He quickly dodges between them, pulling the water orbs around to have another go - but this time, he'll split them up even further, trying to weave them in more erratic patterns so she'll have a harder time dodging.
He's also going to try to gain some height here so he doesn't get forced to the ground, oops.]

Easy mode, beaten. Marisa starts to queue up another spellcard, the orbs finally getting to work and spitting out bullets. This one should keep Mitsuru from getting too close to her, by her estimation. ]
Closure Sign "Big Crunch"!

His own onslaught actually stops as he concentrates on weaving between those lines of lights, backing off in his efforts - but soon there's a globe of water floating her way again, splitting at the last second into more needle-like droplets built for speed and hopefully catching her by surprise.]

Audience of 1: GET. ]

I haven't seen him do anything other than that barrier. This is gonna be so cool.
[Audience of 2: GET.]

It's amazing. I can't believe he can do all that...

[his eyes widen as that Rainbow Shotgun gets let loose]
HOLY SHIT!

[ So cool??? So cool????? And as an afterthought: ]
It's called Vision.

[and water homing orbs too Jesus Christ it's a good thing he has glasses or his eyes might be bugging straight out of his head]
Oh man, if those hit Marisa she's gonna get soaked. I am so glad we're not linked anymore.
no subject
Linked? What do you mean by that?
no subject
[it's the best zombie-BS he can manage, really, while still telling the truth for the Boa he knows is in there]
no subject
Belief in the Lord does make you feel wondrous things, I suppose...
no subject
You'd know, buddy.
[with a sad smile, he claps him on the shoulder]
I'm gonna go check on Eddie, okay? See you later.
no subject
See you.
[ He has more magic to watch! ]

And this is just Lenka being a 50-year-old grandpa in a 15-year-old's body, potentially, but he's just glad to see everyone in high spirits -- particularly the two engaging in the duel. Better to be somewhat inappropriately motivated than moping, right?
He's up on one of the roofs for a better vantage point this time, recovering from his own sparring match and eyes fixed on the lights and colors and spells flying every which way.]
I didn't think we'd get to see something like this again so soon.
