WEEK 8

The weekend passes in a blue, and suddenly it is Monday again. Monday of week 8, the final week of camp. The last week to try and change your fate.

It's sunny and pleasant, with daytime temperatures lingering around 70 degrees Fahrenheit and dropping off into the 50s in the evening. It's pretty much the perfect weather for Michigan, and it's only a shame that it took this long to get to it.

The WiiU continues to be broken, though the creepy Mii is gone now. All of the Miis are, actually. All that can be seen is a variety of Pure Michigan ads, interestingly enough. A bit calmer than last week's visuals, but probably annoying since no games can be played.

There is one other notable change about camp: the counselors are nowhere to be found. There is plenty of food and some note left on how to run things, but otherwise the campers have been left to their own devices apparently.

On the main door to the lodge is a note that says "We will be back as soon as possible." written in Red's handwriting. What could this mean?

[ It's funny, because when Ichigo was alive, Nine would have done almost anything to get him to smile like that. Ichigo was one of the few people who deserved a chance to chill out and drop his guilt for a moment or two.

But now? Now it's wrong. It's not because of Ichigo sharing his guilt or burdens with his team. It's not because he could actually smile and enjoy himself for a change. It's because it's not Ichigo.

So Nine is just going to turn suddenly, while trying to yank him over to try to flip Ichigo down onto the ground. ]

You better be sorry you asshole! You should have been where you were supposed to!

[He's flipped, though it takes a LOT of effort - he's mostly stone at this point, and he still looks confused - maybe even a little Hurt - as he slams onto the ground.]

Where I was - I'm sorry, Nine. I didn't mean for you to be this upset by it. It was a stupid prank, and I just -

[He reaches up jerkily, the sound of stone grating on stone as he grips Nine's shoulder.]

...I didn't mean to hurt you.

[It almost, almost sounds like it's him - but it's not. It's empty, something going through the motions of what Ichigo would do in this situation, but still far too serene and calm for it to really be him.]

[ Nine might have been doing better with complications, but this... he can't handle this. He can't handle the way Ichigo looks hurt. Nine drops down, to grip on him tight. Already thinking of hitting him and then he flinches at Ichigo's words. It was a stupid prank...

It's not that someone pulled a prank on him. Ichigo was part of it. ]

So you chose to run away, huh?

[ His voice is low and detached. He doesn't sound normal at all. ]

You always had our backs but you couldn't even trust us to have yours, hey? Is that it?

[ He let's go. ]

You idiot! What the hell?! Who said you could go off and die like that?!

[ He knows it's not Ichigo there, but he knows Ichigo can damn well hear it. Sorry Solchigo. ]
