Week 8
The weekend passes in a blue, and suddenly it is Monday again. Monday of week 8, the final week of camp. The last week to try and change your fate.
It's sunny and pleasant, with daytime temperatures lingering around 70 degrees Fahrenheit and dropping off into the 50s in the evening. It's pretty much the perfect weather for Michigan, and it's only a shame that it took this long to get to it.
The WiiU continues to be broken, though the creepy Mii is gone now. All of the Miis are, actually. All that can be seen is a variety of Pure Michigan ads, interestingly enough. A bit calmer than last week's visuals, but probably annoying since no games can be played.
There is one other notable change about camp: the counselors are nowhere to be found. There is plenty of food and some note left on how to run things, but otherwise the campers have been left to their own devices apparently.
On the main door to the lodge is a note that says "We will be back as soon as possible." written in Red's handwriting. What could this mean?

Look over here for a moment, hey.
[ If he does, he'll get a quick peck on the lips, while Nine opens up the case. ]
I can do it until you're ready to try.

You're too good to me, you know that?

Putting on his glasses so he can actually read it. Turning the case to try to have the lid shield the needles from his view. ]
That's because I like you, yo.
[ Tapping something. ]
Hey, talk to me about something? Like where you live?
[ Let's try to get him distracted, and Nine actually wants to know. Usually he didn't care to hear about what's home for people until he this place. ]

[His first thought is LeBlanc. And he realizes it probably will be for a long time. But that's not the truth anymore, is it?]
Hmm... it's a small town. I grew up there, and before my probation, I never lived anywhere else...
Needles next tag
Is that where you're going after this?
[ Nine points in a direction in the lodge, like maybe there's something there to look at. ]

I guess. It's where my parents are. KInda goes hand in hand with being a kid- you don't really get a choice.

[ He'll wait until Ren is thinking that, before sticking the needle in to administer the medicine.
you know this probably isn't what he wants to poke him with]no subject
Get it, Nine.]LeBlanc.
[He says it without having to think at all]
Ah... that's the cafe I stayed at during my probation. I bet Boss would let me stay for another year if I asked. As long as I worked for room and board. Learn to make coffee and cook more. Rent in the area isn't bad, I could save up and get someplace small. Maybe... even keep working in the cafe.
[He knows Sojiro can't afford to actually pay a part-timer. He knows this ideal doesn't even consider college or anything like that. But it's what he wants more than anything. This soft lazy life. He blushes a little at the idea, at admitting wanting something so... simple. Domestic, almost. To spend his life making coffee and living near his friends. No more great adventures. Just this.]

Hey, that sounds kind of nice. What's stopping you? You should give it a try, yo.
[ He makes a little bandage appear to stick it over the needle. Did Ren have band-aids before? Because he's getting them now. Pulling the needle out and putting the bandage on over. Getting to work to putting it away. ]
