WEEK 8

The weekend passes in a blue, and suddenly it is Monday again. Monday of week 8, the final week of camp. The last week to try and change your fate.

It's sunny and pleasant, with daytime temperatures lingering around 70 degrees Fahrenheit and dropping off into the 50s in the evening. It's pretty much the perfect weather for Michigan, and it's only a shame that it took this long to get to it.

The WiiU continues to be broken, though the creepy Mii is gone now. All of the Miis are, actually. All that can be seen is a variety of Pure Michigan ads, interestingly enough. A bit calmer than last week's visuals, but probably annoying since no games can be played.

There is one other notable change about camp: the counselors are nowhere to be found. There is plenty of food and some note left on how to run things, but otherwise the campers have been left to their own devices apparently.

On the main door to the lodge is a note that says "We will be back as soon as possible." written in Red's handwriting. What could this mean?

[ He can almost forget for a moment, and then Tal wants to clean up. Nine goes back to leaning against the sink, thinking he can get used to this.

But then he sees that. Wow...

This is going to be a scene after he gets out of the shower every morning, isn't it?

Rubbing the back of his head and then he hears Tal's words about raccoons. He would be laughing normally if everything else wasn't so terrible ]

I... yeah. You can always tease him about it anyways.

[Sadly it is, in fact, going to be a scene every morning until he runs out of skin. At least he still has that normal scar on his right cheek, the skin around it and his eye still intact on that side.]

Because we need more things to tease him about.

[Tal can still laugh, at least.]

He does make it easy, yo.

[ Rubbing his scar as he looks away. Then he'll be back with a smile for Sol!Cott. ]

It's cute seeing him react. [ A pause. ] Not as cute as Tal though.

It's sweet when you can catch him off guard and get a real reaction out of him, not just the bravado.

[He ducks his head, glances away, shy and oh if only there was enough of his skin left to blush.]

I dunno... Ren's awfully cute.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I like the bravado and that whole other side to him.

[ The conversation is a lot more easier then the rocking new look Tal has. ]

I like both, hey. Tal who gave me a reason to want to protect others and Ren who gives me a reason to smile.

That "other side" of him is fun, yeah.

[It's too bad Nine didn't see that feverish knife fight where Red almost iced them.]

And you give us a reason to laugh... and to keep pushing forward. [Fighting. He wanted to say fighting but there's only so much acknowledging the zombie can do.]
