Week 8
The weekend passes in a blue, and suddenly it is Monday again. Monday of week 8, the final week of camp. The last week to try and change your fate.
It's sunny and pleasant, with daytime temperatures lingering around 70 degrees Fahrenheit and dropping off into the 50s in the evening. It's pretty much the perfect weather for Michigan, and it's only a shame that it took this long to get to it.
The WiiU continues to be broken, though the creepy Mii is gone now. All of the Miis are, actually. All that can be seen is a variety of Pure Michigan ads, interestingly enough. A bit calmer than last week's visuals, but probably annoying since no games can be played.
There is one other notable change about camp: the counselors are nowhere to be found. There is plenty of food and some note left on how to run things, but otherwise the campers have been left to their own devices apparently.
On the main door to the lodge is a note that says "We will be back as soon as possible." written in Red's handwriting. What could this mean?

He shoots Nine a curious look at that comment about dying, but no, there's other questions that need answering first.]
You don't need to do anything in particular. Just... [Hm.] You might want to sit down for this so you don't fall over.
[As funny as it would be to watch.]

Alright. I'm ready, yo.

Just like the kids from before. ...the pair, not Ishioka. And just for a little while.
[A pause. There's evidently some kind of communication going on, even if it can't be heard.]
If we turn out to need you, you'll have plenty of sacrifices then. This is just practice.
[Apparently satisfied, Balbylone turns to Nine. Though her featureless face leaves a lot of ambiguity, she's definitely smiling now. Those with little magic resistance might even find it comforting or compelling, really--
But then she's darting over to him in a string of shadow and biting down on whatever available flesh there is. If he doesn't move, it'll knock him out for a few minutes.]

What kids from before?
[ Plenty of sacrifices sounds more like it for summoning though. Maybe this one works by taking others instead of the one that uses it?
While he considers it, his is smiling. He does find it compelling because he's a fighter, not a mage. Who needs magic resistance when you can break things?
And then she's there and biting him. ]
Wha- [ Boom. Knocked out. RIP Nine ]

He'll also sit there and idly time the nap while he's here. It'll top out at five minutes because he told her to take it easy on him - none of this twelve hours business as with the bullies.]

Nine wakes up with the view of the sky instead of watching Mitsuru and his summon. Sitting back up abruptly ]
Huh?! What happened? [ It doesn't feel like time really passed to him, but it's been a few minutes ]

[As you do.]

[ He's not even going to think about the eating people part. ]
How many can she attack at once?

Normally she can cause some memory loss, too.
