Week 8

WEEK 8

The weekend passes in a blue, and suddenly it is Monday again. Monday of week 8, the final week of camp. The last week to try and change your fate.

It's sunny and pleasant, with daytime temperatures lingering around 70 degrees Fahrenheit and dropping off into the 50s in the evening. It's pretty much the perfect weather for Michigan, and it's only a shame that it took this long to get to it.

The WiiU continues to be broken, though the creepy Mii is gone now. All of the Miis are, actually. All that can be seen is a variety of Pure Michigan ads, interestingly enough. A bit calmer than last week's visuals, but probably annoying since no games can be played.

There is one other notable change about camp: the counselors are nowhere to be found. There is plenty of food and some note left on how to run things, but otherwise the campers have been left to their own devices apparently.

On the main door to the lodge is a note that says "We will be back as soon as possible." written in Red's handwriting. What could this mean?

I eat enough! [Why are you trying to be a mom right now?

And it's not like he doesn't eat, unless he's feeling extremely down.

[Someone has to take over mom duties now that Shirou is out of the picture. But seriously, have you seen him feed Mitsuru, it was just a matter of time. Really -- 95% of this camp has been everyone feeling extremely down for various reasons, and in Lenka's opinion that's when you should really make sure you're getting your square meals.

Reverse starvation motive seems to have only made things much worse, after all.]

Hmm. You need more food, because of Drew, right?

I don't know, I've never really thought about it. I guess I probably do, Aunt Mimi's been saying stuff like "I didn't think teenagers actually ate this much", so I guess I've been eating a lot since Drew started being more active.

[It's true! Drew being visible uses a lot of energy, and sympathy uses a lot more.]

Why didn't you tell me that before?

I guess that depends if your aunt's fed teenagers before. But I think they eat a lot.

[Said like he isn't a teenager himself, eating for both himself and the gunblade he's dragging around -- he does eat more than average, but not as much as you'd expect. Lenka's first instinct is still portion control. Making food last. It's been relaxing little by little the more the camp and all its cooks try to feed him, but it's hard to unlearn a lifetime of this stuff.

Have a tilt of the head.]

Did Drew say something about it?

[Drew's already told Chuuta that before.]

Yeah but you didn't say that I have to eat more because of it! I don't eat as much as some of the other guys here but I didn't realize it was your fault that I'm hungry all the time!
