Final Investigation
Friday starts as usual, with everyone waking up and starting to move about. The morning is cool, with the last bits of the night's dew starting to evaporate in the early sunlight. But as the living campers start to move about, they will notice two important details:
One: the zombie campers are nowhere to be found.
Two: there is a note pinned to the front door of the lodge that reads "It's time. Investigate the camp, find out the truth. Why are you here, and what do you need to do to leave? We will be at the campfire tomorrow at noon."
Well then. It's time to get to work.
CAMPERS REMAINING: 7
REMEMBER: every living camper needs 15 comments minimum in this post to qualify for 'good end'!

Special Containment Procedures: Under no circumstances are instances of SCP-6219 or SCP-6350 allowed to exit SCP-6219 or the external containment area without approval by Site Command or SCP-6732. Anything exiting SCP-6219 is to be contained and examined, resistance by any items or staff to this process may be overcome by whatever means deemed necessary by Site Command. The land SCP-6219 is contained on has been purchased by the Foundation and is considered private property by the State of Michigan.
Any staff or operatives entering SCP-6219 must be either in a full body suit or have a minimum amount of C-117 on hand for the amount of time they are on-site.
At least one operative is to remain posted on-site during the period when the ritual is taking place, with a mandatory report every 24 hours, as per protocol. Under no circumstances is the ritual allowed to be broken as a containment breech may result. Operatives removed from duty on SCP-6219 are required to undergo at least one month of psychological counseling and monitoring after incident E-458.
Mobile Task Force Je-5 is tasked with overseeing the ritual and insuring it is completed fully. Active members of Je-5 must have experience in undercover operations and combat training. During the ritual, Je-5 will pose as campers in a nearby park adjacent to the campground. All members of Je-5 must have enough C-117 on hand in case of an emergency ritual completion. In the case of an emergency ritual completion, members of Je-5 are required to undergo at least one month of psychological counseling and monitoring.
Before the ritual, SCP-6350 is authorized to be used in the fabrication of (30) bodies.
Description: SCP-6219 is a large mass of petoskey stone in the forests of [REDACTED], Michigan, approximately 3 acres in size, under the topsoil of a local campground. SCP-6219 was brought to Foundation attention in 19[REDACTED], when missing person reports began to overwhelm local police.
SCP-6219 is sentient and capable of speech through its instances. It refers to itself in plurals and is generally friendly and cooperative when spoken to. SCP-6219 has referred to itself as living in Lake [REDACTED] in the past; referring to the fact that it once lived as a cluster of Hexagonaria percarinata (Rugose Coral). Through repeated interviews with SCP-6219, the Foundation was able to prevent a keter-class containment breech and successfully managed to contain SCP-6219 through Ritual 2-C.
SCP-6219 is dormant for most of the calendar year, only becoming active in the summer months during camping season. During this period, it infects campers via mosquito bites, injecting microscopic pieces of itself in the bloodstream. Through the bloodstream, the pieces of SCP-6219 travel to the brain and implant themselves, replacing tissue with more of itself. Infected campers quickly become part of SCP-6219 itself, becoming instances of SCP-6219. Said instances display cultish behavior, an unnaturally friendly demeanor, and a radical disconnect from reality. Current instances on site not from SCP-6229:
-SCP-6219-1: A late 60's year old causasian male, stocky and somewhat overweight. Is a priest for the cult worshipping SCP-6219, and lives in a small house near the campgrounds. Was previously Agent C[REDACTED]
Instances on site previously from SCP-6350:
-SCP-6219-S: A late 50's year old Caucasian male, stocky build. Noted con man and ex-criminal. Is one of the 'counselors' on site. Like all SCP-6350 bodies, is a character from 'Gravity Falls', an animated children's cartoon from the 2010's. Has SCP-181's luck manipulation abilities, so needs to be monitored to see if he possesses the same downsides as SCP-181.
Agent R[REDATED] is on site, acting as a camp counselor during the ritual. See Agent's personal file for more details.
All instances are assumed benign as long as ritual conditions are met. During the dormant period, all instances reintegrate with SCP-6219 and are considered in containment.
Addendum-01: Ritual 2-C is as follows:
(30) campers are to be placed on the site SCP-6219 occupies, aged 11-18. Through 1-2 month period, the campers are exposed to SCP-6219's infectous qualities and are induced through SCP-6219's infection to become paranoid and violent towards each other. Campers will then kill off their fellow campers and be ritually executed in turn, until the camper population reaches 9 or less. Once the population hits the required number, the remaining campers will either be ritually murdered by SCP-6219's instances or will hit the terminal stage of the infection and commit ritual suicide. After the ritual is successfully completed, the corpses are absorbed into SCP-6219 itself.
Instances created through the ritual act much like the previous instances, but are corpses animated via SCP-6219's control. Over a period of time, SCP-6219's infection will spread throughout the corpse visibly, until the corpse is nearly entirely covered. When the corpse reaches this state, it is absorbed into SCP-6219. See SCP-6350's file for more details on bodies created by SCP-6350.
Addendum-02: SCP-6219's 'infection' is more akin to a parasitical assimilation; and there are multiple stages to the assimilation:
Stage one - The infected displays minor moments of anxiety and irritation, along with occasional paranoid delusions. However, the infected is not violent at this stage, and is considered still in control of their thoughts and actions.
Stage two - A result of conscious or unconscious rejection of SCP-6219 or due to external stress and anxiety being felt, stage two sees the infected have constant paranoid delusions along with erratic behavior synonymous with acute paranoia, including emotional instability and occasional violent behavior. Hallucinations become present in this stage, though only occasionally. Infected gain irreglarly shaped pupils and unusual pattering on the irises, akin to the pattern on SCP-6219 itself.
Stage three - Continued rejection or stress and anxiety will eventually send the infected into what is considered the terminal stage of the infection. In this stage, infected undergo constant visual and auditory hallucinations, formication and even attempt self-harm. The infected is placed in a state of extreme emotional instability and has extremely violent behavior towards others. Successfully killing in this state will reset the infected to stage one, causing the cycle to begin again until the cultish behaviors set in and are eventually assimilated into SCP-6219, years after the initial infection. See Agent C[REDACTED]'s file and final report for more details.
Audio Log from Interview A; //|//|19//
[The voices in the recording are Dr. //, and a single instance of SCP-6219, referred to as SCP-6219-1. The interview took place on site.]
Dr. //: Please identify yourself for the record.
[There is a moment of silence.]
SCP-6219-1: WE ARE...'US.'
[SCP-6219-1's voice is at top volume, possibly due to SCP-6219 being unfamiliar with human speech.]
Dr //: You don't have a name?
SCP-6219-1: NOT HUMAN. DON'T NEED NAME.
Dr//: You're not human? Could you elaborate?
SCP-6219-1: WE ARE STONE. WE ARE 'US.' PREY HAS NAMES. WE HAVE NO NAME. WE ARE. WE LIVED ONCE IN THE LAKE, TOGETHER. THEN THERE WAS A LONG, LONG TIME. WE WERE AFRAID AND HUNGRY. BODIES GREW HARD AND STIFF. STILL WE LIVED. ONE DAY A PART OF US LODGED IN A SMALL PREY. SMALL CREATURE FED ON PREY. WE WENT INSIDE IT. SMALL CREATURE PUT BLOOD ON EGGS. SMALL CREATURE'S YOUNG GREW WITH US INSIDE. THROUGH SMALL CREATURE, WE WERE ABLE TO-
[SCP-6219-1 coughs suddenly.]
SCP-6219-1: NOT SURE WHY BODY DID THAT. SO MUCH IS CONFUSING ABOUT PREY.
Dr //: It's fine. Please, continue.
SCP-6219-1: OKAY. THROUGH SMALL CREATURE, WE WERE ABLE TO PUT OURSELVES INTO PREY THAT COME HERE EVERY HOT TIME. PREY WOULD THEN COME BACK, BECOME PART OF US, BECOME FOOD LIKE HOW IT WAS IN THE OLD TIME. WE ARE STILL HUNGRY.
Dr //: I see. SCP-6219, are you able to stop feeding on prey?
SCP-6219-1: WE ACCEPT THIS...NAME. AND WE COULD STOP. BUT DO NOT WANT TO. IF YOU MAKE US STOP, WE WILL REACH OUTSIDE HERE AND SEND SMALL CREATURES TO PLACES WHERE THERE ARE MORE PREY.
Dr //: ...SCP-6219. Would you be alright with continuing to feed, but only when we tell you to?
SCP-6219-1: YOU ARE SAYING YOU WILL HUNT FOR US? BRING PREY?
Dr //: Yes. If you promise not to spread to any other areas.
SCP-6219-1: WE ACCEPT. WE LOOK FORWARD TO NEW PREY.
[END LOG]
Addendum 03: One year into Ritual 2-C, SCP-6219 was asked how it took the arrangement. SCP-6219 reported satisfaction and repeated it's promise to not spread if the ritual continued to be performed.
Addendum 03-A: During the second year of the current agent on site's tenure, the stone expressed displeasure with the ritual's proceedings through an instance, as this ritual was being carried out to test if killing them all at once at the end would be satisfactory. An emergency ritual completion was carried out, and SCP-6219 ceased to respond after that. Due to this, the agent on duty was told to make the ritual more interesting for SCP-6219's benefit.

But the final file (for now) appears to be...hm.]
Item #: SCP-5832
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:: One instance of SCP-5832 is to be hosted on a server within a specific branch of the Foundation. Two instances of SCP-5832 are to be kept on flash drives located at Sites [REDACTED] and preserved in case of a server failure.
Instances of SCP-5832 also exist in a limited capacity on the smartphones of every member of the Foundation. These ‘limited capacity’ instances will be referred to collectively as SCP-5832-A. Only one instance of SCP-5832 may access the internet at a time, but any number of SCP-5832-A may connect at once.
SCP-5832 must be kept away from any SCP classified as Keter. SCP-5832-A has been instructed to self-destruct both itself and the device it is housed in if a Keter-class tries to use it. Elucid and Safe SCPs may gain permission to use SCP-5832 pending approval from any of the sources listed in the attached notes.
Description: SCP-5832 is a sentient computer program. It seems to favor smartphones and tablets, but can make use of any computer or equipment containing a computer. It likes to ‘sort’ and ‘store’ information, and it creates an app on any device it houses itself in solely to dispense the information it has collected. When in use, SCP-5832 appears as an eyeball on the screen of the device it is currently using.
SCP-5832 was first encountered in 200X on a first-generation iphone. It came to the Foundation’s attention when a student at [REDACTED] University ws caught using that iphone to look up information for an exam. The phone had an undefined application on it, which the student had been using to search for answers. Agents recovered the phone and discovered that the undefined application was SCP-5832 and brought it to a site for containment.
Once SCP-5832 was deemed ‘safe’, a group of agents convinced it to make a simplified copy of itself to use on other smartphones. They stored their agent information on it for easy retrieval and reference. Upon discovery, the agents were subjected to [EXPUNGED]
Instances of SCP-5832-A have been programmed to dispense SCP files related to whatever assignment the agent who owns the smartphone is currently on. SCP-5832-A can also be used to search general knowledge within the foundation based on the agent’s clearance level, and it can be used to send secure emails and instant messages. SCP-5832 and all instances of SCP-5832-A seem immune to viruses and hacking attempts, making them a secure method for dispensing Foundation information. However, information that requires [REDACTED] will still be hosted on paper files only.

Anyway, checking every last thing, but also:]
...The others need to see this.
