FINAL INVESTIGATION

Friday starts as usual, with everyone waking up and starting to move about. The morning is cool, with the last bits of the night's dew starting to evaporate in the early sunlight. But as the living campers start to move about, they will notice two important details:

One: the zombie campers are nowhere to be found.

Two: there is a note pinned to the front door of the lodge that reads "It's time. Investigate the camp, find out the truth. Why are you here, and what do you need to do to leave? We will be at the campfire tomorrow at noon."

Well then. It's time to get to work.

[It's been a week of rest. Interestingly, the floor arrangement really did bring more peaceful sleep, if in part because being surrounded by others who would surely react to the visions of his hallucinations only made it all the more obvious what was real and what was not.

It felt... safer. Safer than he's felt in quite some time.

But now isn't the time for that. Now that he's bad his rest, now that he's had his time to recover, it's time to bring this to an end. He looks at that note on the lodge curiously, mulling over its contents.]

One final investigation, is it?

[Ren reads the note over Mitsuru's shoulder, frowning]

As if there's anything here we haven't looked at other than that door and the RV park. Still, I guess they're giving us a chance, and we better take it.

[He follows Mitsuru wherever he decides to go- he said he'd play his part in keeping Mitsuru safe from the Protocol, and while it's not supposed to go off until Sunday... if things are going down now, he'll be ready.]

[With how their… everything is, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Drew frequently manages to talk Chuuta out of a downward spiral. It just took a while this time, but eventually the alien figured out what to say to kick his host back into gear.

So today, with a deadline looming, Chuuta is feeling determined. There probably wasn't a murder this week, but he's still ready for an investigation. He's... even wearing his full ēlDLIVE uniform, because it makes him feel a little bit more like he knows what he's doing.]

Where do you want to start? [He asks, as Drew studies the note a little more.]

[Mitsuru is right behind him, dressed in her SEES uniform (armband at all) that she purchased from Stan a few weeks ago. her Evoker is at her side, as well as her rapier. and in general. . . she looks ready]

Some place we've not been able to investigate while Red and Archer were here. They may have opened up new pathways for us, too.

[I LIED SORRY it's not actually a physical lock. If they try to open it then it won't open, but it looks like a normal wooden door.
