WEEK 5
After the excitement and near-death episode on Sunday, it's almost a relief that Monday comes with only two new zombie friends. Maybe try to make it through this week without getting hurt, hmm? The healers can only do so much.
It's starting to get warm again, and while the temperature itself isn't too unbearable, it's the humidity that's killer. The stormy weather from last week has left plenty of water in the air, and with no air conditioning outside of certain locations (read: Red and Stan's rooms) it's going to be miserable. Swimming might be the best way to cool off.
The WiiU remains, and in addition to the current games there is now a copy of 'Super Smash Bros. Brawl' for you to play! It's even got all the hidden characters unlocked. Have fun! Additionally, Kanji and Lance are now gone from the Mii menu, and a new Mii has appeared. If selected for use, it will just stand there and stare at the screen, like it's staring into the soul of whoever is playing.
In addition to all of this, there is a sense of anxiety around the camp. A 'calm before the storm', so to speak. Something's going to happen this week, and that feeling of dread just can't be shaken.

Actually, he doesn't have much interest in much here at all. The others can find him sitting at the beach, holding the sparkler out a fair distance from himself, as all good children are taught. His knees are tucked close, and to be frank - he looks exhausted.
Feel free to bother him, because he's unlikely to be bothering you.]

He tired himself out by now though, so it's time to check on his favourite camper. ]
Not in the mood?
no subject
[He releases a sigh, rubbing at his eye with his free hand.]
Have fun?

[ Boa nods affirmatively, now instantly embarrassed by the fact that it's true. It's hard to be the person he wants to be when he needs these small distractions so desperately. ]
I've never done this before, so maybe that's why.
no subject
We never played with anything this big, either. We were too small.
[And then his parents were too dead by the time he was older.]
no subject
How old were you?
no subject
...Around six, I guess. Aya was about three.
no subject
... Aya?
[ Maybe he shouldn't ask, but Mitsuru had named the name himself without being specifically prompted for details on the 'we', so... ]
no subject
[That reply comes a bit quicker, even if it's short.]

S'up Boa and Mitsuru
Hey, I haven't tried these ones yet, yo. Want to see what they do?
no subject
...Sure?
[This is a very sudden change of topic.]
no subject
But okay? Okay. ]
Let's go for it...?
no subject
Just going to pull out a lighter and kneel down beside them. ]
What does the instructions say, yo?
[ The print is small enough to blur when he tries, so it's in their hands. Are there any instructions on them? Well, maybe a sticker that says which way to face towards or away from people. ]
no subject
He'll obligingly uncurl himself so he can lean forward and take a look at the package, at least.]
This side's supposed to face us. [He'll tap on that sticker.] And here's where you're supposed to light it...
[...]
You couldn't read it yourself?
no subject
And since Nine has a question to answer and is also already holding a lighter, he'll just use that time to follow the instructions Mitsuru just laid out for them. Minus the lighting part.]
no subject
Uh, I must have missed it.
[ Don't question it. Also good Boa doing the things. Here, Mitsuru you can have lighter duty ]

He seems to sigh, his head dipping a bit. But then, he begins to chant, almost like he's singing:]
Great spirit of the winds, with your power filling all the heavens I who walk the paths of magic summon you. In your benevolence, sweep away all the magic that binds us, send it to the very depths of the chaotic abyss. Aero lar stenigel...
[A wind seems to pick up in the air, swirling the smoke around. Actually--
now the color is becoming streams of smoke, spinning around in a lazy circle around him.]

Holy shit!
no subject
Having fun?
no subject
Uh yeah. I found a shit ton of good stuff in my cabin. Kinda makes this place feel a little less of a fucking horror show. How 'bout you?
no subject
...I think I'd rather sleep.
[He does look pretty tired, for whatever reason. He'll go ahead and get back to sitting normally, at least.]
Boa seemed to be enjoying himself.
no subject
[He looks over towards Boa and smiles a little]
Yeah. I think he is. You gonna talk to him? Or just watch him like some creepy stalker.
[Eddie... that's rude.]
