As you wake up, nothing seems different - beyond that you don't seem quite as worried about your secrets being exposed anymore. And that, just like all the times before, means only one thing -

- that one of your fellow campers have committed murder.

Someone is dead. It's up to you to find out who...and to gather evidence for it.

[ Boa raises a hand in greeting though it's not very enthusiastic. It's Friday morning and this routine is getting old. ]

[ Boa just freezes in his tracks instantly, which is about as good as listening to Nine in the 'don't look' department. ]

[ That's his official statement and you may quote him on it.

IT'S BETTER THAN BRAINS? In the sense that it's the complete absence of brains from the room? But honestly? It sucks. It sucks so much. And he doesn't really feel like stepping closer just yet to look at that neck wound up close.

[The body is clearly female, but it's hard to tell exactly who this used to be just on that.

There's smudged pink paint on the back of the body, though it's hard to make out through all the blood.]

[ Well... that's not good. Considering the chicks left here are either his friends or are the soft type. Nine is going to investigate. Tall chick or short? Also checking her clothes? Anything in her pockets? ]

Boa... did you see Pigtails in her bunk this morning? [ Nine wasn't paying attention thanks to certain assholes busting in early. ]

[ Boa is silent for a moment.... Usagi....

He shakes his head hesitantly. ]

... no. I don't think I did.

[Well now that it's revealed to be Usagi, the body is definitely short. So it's not Mitsuru(tol).

Her clothes are fine, and there's nothing in her pockets - though it's obvious there's less blood than you'd expect from a decapitation here. There's still enough covering the, uh, neck stump, though.]

[ Just going to check out where her head used to be. ]

I didn't really think to check. Lenka was distracting, yo.

[ WHERE IS ALL THE BLOOD. Is it a clean cut? Jagged? Did it look like they knew what they were doing? ]

That's weird, yo. Do you see any blood or drag marks?

[HI BOA. a few minutes after Nine leaves, Richie comes STOMPING into the mess hall]

FUCK THIS WHOLE MOTHERFUCKING SHITHOLE OF A CAMP.

[he's so angry that the tears should be steaming off his cheeks instead of coating them]

[ Whoa. Boa flinches pretty badly at that shout, he wasn't even facing the door or saw Richie coming. He's been... staring at some corner, as if that's productive. Maybe there's a hint here?? It's one way to ignore the decapitated elephant in the room.

But when he catches his breath from that surprise, he's immediately over to Richie. ]

I'd say you can say that out loud, but... you did.

Nine just KICKED me out of the FUCKING kitchen because I mentioned the GODDAMN FUCKING EVIDENCE we already have to the fact that USAGI'S FUCKING HEAD IS IN THE FREEZER because I apparently need to PLAY NICE WITH THE MOTHERFUCKING MURDERING LYING SACK OF SHIT WHO LIVES IN OUR CABIN.

[and then there's a brief interlude while Chuuta runs out of the kitchen like a little bitch and this happens.]

[ That is... a real lot to take in. Okay, so kitchen, head, freezer, Chuuta? Did he get that right? Boa looks kind of taken aback by this info-dump and running interlude. ]

Is this case really... that easy? Is this just it?

[ There's a lot of yelling here but this is what he took from it. ]

[Richie sits down hard in the middle of the mess hall, right on the floor, and sniffs.]

When Lenka came into the cabin, this morning ... there was a whole ton of pink paint on Chuuta's trunk and his bunk. It's the paint Usagi was using on the Time Out Shack. I know, because she told me she had to make it herself. Stan only had red and white. So whoever got the paint had to get it from her, and now ... she's ...

[he catches sight of the rest of her body, finally, as his rage-blindness wears off, and that's enough to stop him.]

[yep. that's the rest of her. dead.]

[ Boa swallows heavily as he hears this. That certainly explains a lot.

And he'd comment, but Richie's staring at the body now, so he'll just... step in front of Richie to interrupt the line of sight. It's not a fun view and he himself has been avoiding it for a little while now, so Richie also shouldn't have to stare. ]

... well, that's... pretty decisive evidence. Wow.

[ ... ]

We should probably get out of here.

Eddie's ... helping with the evidence in the other room. I ... I should stay. He might need me.

[he sighs]

But maybe you could try to find whatever they used to ... you know.

[he puts a hand to his throat]

... he's still with the head...?

[ Eddie? God, that's... a sickening thought. Boa is just impressed that despite the screaming, Eddie hasn't left yet. That he's helping with evidence. Wow. ]

Are you okay being alone though...?

If they bring the head in here, I ... I won't be alone for too long.

[another deep breath. he did last week for Kanji. he can do this for Usagi. he WILL. he has to. she wanted to save everyone so badly. the least he can do is figure this out. one more time.]

[ Boa gives Richie a skeptical up and down look here, but then he just nods grimly. ]

I will.

[ Time to check out some other places. ]
