Week 6
Last week had been pretty brutal, leaving scars on everyone in camp. A murder driven by paranoia-induced visions, committed by and against two of the youngest members of camp, has left everyone reeling. If this is the way murders will go, what's to happen next?
The humidity is dropping off some, but the heat is staying strong. The campers will need to find new ways to beat the heat. A delivery is due this week though, so maybe the camp's deliveryman will have some ice cream?
The WiiU and current games are all here, but there are no new games. Sorry everyone, you're stuck with what you have. Usagi and Boa are now gone from the Mii menu, but that strange faceless Mii is still there, staring as always. His grin seems to have grown though, and the Mii menu music has changed as well. The other Miis seem scared of the grinny Mii, and they are staying far away from him. Now the only selectable Mii is grin-face. How weird.
The counselors have said they need 'more time' to end this, but just how much time do they need? Can the campers really stall long enough for the counselors to finish their plan? And how does that knowledge sit with them, knowing that each delayed week means less campers will make it in the end?

It’s something Shirou hadn’t seemed to know, not exactly, but it lines up with other things Red and his fellow campers have told him or dug up. And yet... an organization that includes people like Kurotsuchi, that can make gods afraid, that does this to children under the guise of saving the world? He may not know much about Fate/bullshit, but he knows some real bullshit when he sees it. None of them have all the answers. Not even Archer.]
So saving the world. That’s what you believe you’re doing.

[His tone brooks absolutely no argument against it - Archer is 100% convinced he's saving the world.]

Hmm. [considering, and definitely not agreeing] I don’t know how your magic works. What happens, once you’re done saving the world?

But I'm under contract, and my master supplies me with enough mana to keep me in this world. On top of that, this world is remarkably mana-dense.

[Do we want this poor post-apocalyptic hick child to learn all about the wonders of mana. Do we.
Regardless of the threat of sudden TMI, Lenka pushes forward, trying to sort through the morass of specialized terms and information being flung his way.]
There’s a lot happening in this world. Does that mean that... even if there’s no longer a threat, or a different threat... You’d still be here?
no subject
That's correct. Multiple things in this world threaten humanity at any given point in time.
no subject
Multiple things... [by that, he probably means the anomalies, and while Lenka wants to dig further on this subject, he isn't sure enough yet of Archer's standing or temperament or even his exact purpose here in camp to delve properly into it; he tries anyway] Are all of them like this camp? The god and... the sacrifices.
no subject
[I'm sorry, but that's basically his standard answer for everything.]

It's too bad he's still not far enough along on his timeline to really call out suspicious chains of command the minute he sees them. Hm.]
The ending of the ritual. What can you tell me about that, or the alternatives you talked about?
