Week 6
Last week had been pretty brutal, leaving scars on everyone in camp. A murder driven by paranoia-induced visions, committed by and against two of the youngest members of camp, has left everyone reeling. If this is the way murders will go, what's to happen next?
The humidity is dropping off some, but the heat is staying strong. The campers will need to find new ways to beat the heat. A delivery is due this week though, so maybe the camp's deliveryman will have some ice cream?
The WiiU and current games are all here, but there are no new games. Sorry everyone, you're stuck with what you have. Usagi and Boa are now gone from the Mii menu, but that strange faceless Mii is still there, staring as always. His grin seems to have grown though, and the Mii menu music has changed as well. The other Miis seem scared of the grinny Mii, and they are staying far away from him. Now the only selectable Mii is grin-face. How weird.
The counselors have said they need 'more time' to end this, but just how much time do they need? Can the campers really stall long enough for the counselors to finish their plan? And how does that knowledge sit with them, knowing that each delayed week means less campers will make it in the end?

[ a yawn. honestly, same. She expected Stan to like comedies, which is what she thought of when she heard the name of this movie. ]

Are the Duchess and the Queen related?
[He has missed half the character relations because none of the names make sense.]

[But wait, no, that doesn't make any sense.
The Duchess and the Queen's names don't seem to match (he thinks), but can you go from Duchess to Queen if you pretend to be related? Or if you're really related? Royalty is confusing, but fictional royalty even more so. It reminds him of Usagi, actually.]

[What exactly is even the plot of this when you can't figure out the character relations, it's a true mystery; Lenka is more closely preoccupied with whether the Duchess would be recognizable years and kingdoms later. Maybe this is like what Stan said about sending your kids off to summer camp, where you stop seeing them for a while.
But like, politically-inclined. He's mixing his metaphors and his genres now.]

[ .... ]
Hey, you're right. I don't think you can become a Queen from a Duchess. Isn't a Duchess noble, and a Queen royal? They're two completely different things.

[Wait, no, that's not how Western feudal systems work. Like he knows, though, the best he can do think back on other TV shows and the odd book he could get his hands on and have time to peek through. For all he knows, the Queen decides on the marriages of everyone who works for her.
That seems like a terrible job opportunity, honestly.]
... I guess they're not going back to the dance.
[The job appears to involve a lot of dancing. A lot. Any more and it's going to become a musical.]

[Marisa's yawns are already making him yawn by proxy, so Lenka is in the midst of that when she touches down and doesn't see it coming -- he stiffens a little in surprise, blinking at the sudden quantity of blonde hair in his face when he turns to check. At least with his cape in the way (because he wears it in damn near all weather, like a nerd), Marisa still gets a nice pillow even when he's all frozen.]
Ah, right. Whatever she wants...
[He's lowered his voice a bit because he's not actually sure if she's asleep?? But he'll eventually relax.]
