WEEK 6

Last week had been pretty brutal, leaving scars on everyone in camp. A murder driven by paranoia-induced visions, committed by and against two of the youngest members of camp, has left everyone reeling. If this is the way murders will go, what's to happen next?

The humidity is dropping off some, but the heat is staying strong. The campers will need to find new ways to beat the heat. A delivery is due this week though, so maybe the camp's deliveryman will have some ice cream?

The WiiU and current games are all here, but there are no new games. Sorry everyone, you're stuck with what you have. Usagi and Boa are now gone from the Mii menu, but that strange faceless Mii is still there, staring as always. His grin seems to have grown though, and the Mii menu music has changed as well. The other Miis seem scared of the grinny Mii, and they are staying far away from him. Now the only selectable Mii is grin-face. How weird.

The counselors have said they need 'more time' to end this, but just how much time do they need? Can the campers really stall long enough for the counselors to finish their plan? And how does that knowledge sit with them, knowing that each delayed week means less campers will make it in the end?

[but god she is bad at this, and quite frankly hasn't even thought about this since arriving at camp (far too preoccupied with things like death and zombies and keeping everyone together). so it's no surprise that it's taking her a bit off guard now that she's been dragged into the conversation]

[trails off, and restarts her sentence] What I mean to say is, we have so much business to attend to, and while I stress the importance of taking time to relax, we should also be sure not to forget. . .

[He's just mostly been in a corner during all this and keeping his head way down, because all of this is really overwhelming and all of the dramatic realizations others are having aren't really... completely new to him. He's just always been really quiet about feelings and thoughts like these, and never really had the chance to examine them much.

By this point in the conversation he has his face sunk into his hands and his ears are red because Mitsuru, your suitors are many and his will is weaker than the forming line, but Lenka peeks up at this. There's... some emotions in the mix that aren't close enough to embarrassment to get lost in there.

He's going to pay as much attention as he can with their loop still intensifying. It's something he should ask her about, later.]

[there is definitely something strange and weird and uncomfortable about the way Mitsuru brings up her engagement. a clear sense of distress, of anxiety, of discomfort. it shows a bit in the way she fidgets, in the unhappy glances she keeps giving people as she talks]
