WEEK 3

Another Sunday, another day to rest and recover after trial. The weather is now uncomfortably hot and humid after all the rain - perfect swimming weather, if what happened during the execution didn't put you off from swimming for a good long while.

As before, The RV's have changed, but it might not be the best idea to go and bother them after last week's...well, mistake. Maybe give it a week to rest. Additionally, if anyone tries to play the Wii, they will find that Chloe, Talcott, and Sayama's Miis have disappeared - as well that the machine itself is spitting out some strange music at the home screen and the Mii channel. The games seem unaffected by the musical change, at least - and there's now a copy of Mario Party 9 ready to be played alongside Wii Sports. Try not to murder each other or fling the wiimotes into the tv, alright?

The rest of the camp is the same as always, though now fishing equipment is always left out near the lake and beach, and there's a taped on sign on the slope railing declaring 'DO NOT LEAN ON.' Looks like they finally noticed the hazard that thing could potentially be. The kitchen has been fully scrubbed, the faint scent of lemon wafting in the air. Hm.

Two weeks have gone by, and with it, 6 of your fellow campers are gone. There are only six weeks left - six long weeks, and your chances of making it out dwindle all the time.

Knowing that, what will you do?

[Ren is looking out over the park with his Third Eye up. When he speaks his voice is a little slurred... But he has some very pretty red nails today]

[Just going to be quietly double-checking what Cabin 2 defenses there are and quite possibly stealing a good amount of dish towels from the kitchen. Also water. They’re useful supplies even outside the event of an emergency. Hit him up if you want to talk defenses or supplies or distractions! Otherwise he’ll just be keeping himself busy because he’s bad at sitting around.]

[ He'll find there's a couple lines of chalk around the cabin outside, a few patterns drawn underneath people's beds and such. It's the alarm system Marisa talked about, so it won't do much to keep things out, but let's say she'll have told him about the quiet chiming sound that comes with someone who doesn't live in the cabin crossing the threshold. ]

Part 2: into the RV park

[After the group is settled and signals(?) set, Mitsuru casts enveiling on himself, rendering himself invisible.]

[ Marisa waves her hand and suddenly she's in a new outfit entirely, wearing sturdy boots instead of her usual loafers.

She could have magically changed out of her camp uniform at any time. And did not. No accounting for taste, etc.

She nods, and sticks her Hakkero in her pocket just in case, though she hopes she won't have to use it today (a first time for everything). ]

LOOK A DISTRACTION

[Richie has carefully moved Frank the Octopus into a safe place. then he proceeded to dump a couple of glasses of water on the floor, and throw the glasses down, too, because broken glass is convincing. once he's done that.... he screams bloody murder]

Lenka does not, in fact, have any idea that octopi are classic escape artist shitheads -- he just knows they have eight arms and are probably capable of going literally anywhere, but like. Seafood distractions are not his forte, what do you want from him. He puts down a bucket of water, looks at it, and picks it back up...]

... Can Frank climb trees?

[It's actually a real question but like, asked way too calmly after Richie's screaming. Why would you guys expect him to be able to act. Actually, does he know this is a distraction, the jury is out.]

[Some time after the octopus distraction, there's a lot of banging and wood destruction noises coming from the safe spot (The supply closet in the mess hall) along with the sound of Eddie screaming bloody murder.

If you're going to see what the hell just happened, don't worry about it! Because the Lake Kittens are bounding up to the clearing, one with a very dead Frank in its mouth, spewing ink and blood, and the other with Eddie hanging from it's jaws.

But Eddie is, at least, alive and unharmed - because the kitten has grabbed him by the back of his shirt collar, much like a mother cat would do to her kittens.

[ Boa's still in the clearing, peering over anxiously in the rough direction of the RV area, when...

That familiar voice gives him a chill down his spine and that's well-warranted because...

No. Nononononono. This is so not happening.

Boa acts before he thinks and puts his Beyblade in his launcher. Unless someone stops him, he'll sent Bahamut flying directly at the kitten's head. ]

[Gonta follows the screaming and... Oh god. He's assuming those lake cats were the same ones that killed Tallcott.]

[ Usagi ran out of Cabin 3 at the screaming, where she was napping, just in time to see this mess that she clearly caused by being unable to kill an octopus.

Oh boy, she's going to run after this to meet up with the others, at least, panicking, because this is all her fault. ]

[Throughout all of this chaos Talcott is sitting hapilly at one of the picnic tables outside the lodge, on the edge of the clearing. He's got a deck of cards and is playing solitaire.

He even looks up and smiles periodically, waving to Nine while he plays tag with the kids. It's so cute how good his boyfriend is with the younger boys.]

Part 4: holy shit you didn't fuck it up

[Gonta will be next to Eddie, partially keeping an eye on his friend and partially letting himself be a giant comfort object if Eddie needs the hugs.

For a second, he looks up like he heard something... But after a second he shakes his head and addresses the group.]

Uh... Sorry abut Octopus... But at least we survive night panthers and got to know them a little better.

[ Boa is late to this fuckery because he was drenched in water and meat fat and grass stains and dirt. That's not the state he wants to go outside in, especially not since he still plans on furiously denying that this ever happened.

... so here's grumpy Boa, dressed in fresh clothes and who has no idea that Lenka's already spilled the beans. He just approaches the group sullenly and silently. ]

REGROUP/CAT HERDING

[ AND THEN, WHILE CHAOS BREAKS, Usagi remembers something important. She has transformed because she needs one of her powers. Specifically: she's using the red hair accessories for another reason: the work as a megaphone for a minute. ]

HEY LISTEN UP!

[ ...That sure is loud, and it's obvious her hair accessories are the source of the amplification. They even light up a bit. But when she has everyone's attention, they'll turn off and she'll even detransform back into Usagi now that she's done what she needed to do. ]

If we're all done fighting, I remembered something important! When were talking to the, uh... They called themselves, like, fabulous night panthers, I think? They said something about having to go back in part before their parent noticed they were gone and also before the stone god noticed them!

[ In other words, something else is here besides the lake cats. ]

They used the name... A... Asin-manidoo I think but I managed to translate that to "stone god." I"m thinking that's what's behind the weird rock things!
